I caught Pride one night on T.V when I was out of town. I never seen it before and was impressed with the fighters. I know I only seen it one time but all the fighters seemed to be in real good shape. The fights I seen that night where all really good. Im not sure why so many people do not like this organization other then it is based out of the U.S. I have to say that given the chance to watch it or attend one of there events I would gladly go. I guess I really enjoy watching MMA and anytime I have the chance to see talented fighters go at it I watch. What is the real deal with Pride.

anyone who doesnt like this org. is retarded imo. it's hard to say which is better. i give pride a slight advantage due tho the rules, the talent pool, and the fact that fighting for pride is like fighting in the coliseum in rome. they pack these huge arenas. i'd love to fight there. granted everyone wants to fight in the ufc because everyone knows the ufc. but pride treats there fighters really well, they dont give up on them if they have talent. they get paid well, and the fans in japan worship them. you will see japanese people in the audience waving brazilian flags. its an incredible org. if i had to chose one over the other i'd choose pride.

Because, people in America have only been exposed to UFC, they dunno what Pride is lol...that'll change when Pride: The Real Deal comes too America..(Hopefully it'll get more Pride fans out of it :D)
i dont really know what coming here is going to do to help them. having an event here doesnt mean its cheaper to order on ppv. and its not like if they havn't heard of pride they will hear of it and know what it is and get interested all in enough time to want to order it. plus they have to change their normal rules which i think is going to confuse the people who have nver seen it before when they go back to japan. i touched on this a bit in another thread. i think the best advertisement for pride would be for fedor and maybe cro cop and shogun to buy front row tickets to a ufc event. and call out some of the ufc fighters live on ppv. all the people who didnt know what pride was got interested when wand showed up. so keep doing it until something happens. i picked the guys on listed also because they can all bring belts with them to show the u.s. that they are champions.

Yah...thats so true....when Wandy came to UFC...people were like "Who the F*ck is this guy?...." then when he said I wanna fight chuck.....a lot of people were probably interested too see this fight happen. but thats a good idea bring in all of Pride's toughest fighters...and show UFC what they're all about. :D..which will most likely never happen. lol.....anyways....I guess if we just give it some time..it'll grow on people, The Rules, the new setting of a Ring....etc etc.

They will probably be quickly escorted out if not arrested if they tried to disrupt a UFC PPV. They would also only be able to get away with it once before they are barred from the buildings all together or get a law suite thrown their way. This is not pro wrestling.

What they should do is spend money on advertising. That is buy commercial time on TUF and the UFN advertising their shows on PPV or Fox Sports.

Thanks for the info, I didnt know that much about Pride. I had a feeling that there was more to it then what people where saying. One thing I really noticed was the fighters in Pride all looked like they did extensive weight training and where in great shape. Alot of UFC fighters dont look like they train that much with free weights. Thats not saying that they do not have great Cardio. Tito is known to have fantastic Cardio and alot of other fighters also. Thanks for the info on Pride.

they dont have to cause shit. just being there with the belts will draw attention. and if for some reason the camera goes to them to get there opinion on the main event they could say who they thought would win and be like and by the way if tim sylvia want to fight me to unify the belts im with it.(assuming its cro cop or fedor talking) sometimes being seen means alot. tito traveled to pride, chuck fought in pride, randy used to go over there with dan sometimes, and he said he wanted to fight wanderlei when he was there. it's a good way to get attention and you can do it in a respectful manner.

Thats a great idea. To have Prides top guys continuasly come to UFC ppvs and call guys out until UFC finally caves in and lets the fights happen. This plan might actually work. They should definatly do it.
All the guys could wear t-shirts that said "N.W.O." on them! They could also commondere a microphone and say "You know who we are...and we're taking over" and them powerbomb Joe Rogan through a table! Oh wait, I'm not sure if the UFC uses scripts, i'll have to check on that.

then what's the point of having the olympics in different cities every time? its because people like having events in their area! trust me, there are prolly a lot of people traveling to this PRIDE event in america, from the states... maybe even from canada and such.
