The meat blanket is gonna get subbed in under a minute

Damn, I bet that bader thought he was going to lay and pray himself into a TUF winner. Now he's got a sick jitz guy who would love to be taken down and layed on. That's great.

I'll bet all my points on vinny.

What are you talking about? Did you watch his other fights or did you only watch his fight with Marshall? I got to stop defending Bader. People never listen.

I saw his first fight of the season, but I don't really remember anything about it except that he must have won. But really, all I need to see is one meat blanket performance to absolutely hate somebody. I mean, at least throw a hammerfist or do something, anything.

I hope the ref is standing close by to stop the action when he fights vinny, because if not, that arm is gonna snap!

It was a very boring fight but you have to realize how bad of a matchup it was for Bader. He did what he had to do and I'm sure he'd rather win a contract and fulfill a dream of being in the UFC instead of just pleasing the fans but getting submitted and not advancing to the finals.

I'd do the same thing if I were in his shoes. It was the only sure way he would win. Styles make fights and I'm sure even he wasn't very impressed with his performance.

Winning a boring decision is better than getting submitted in an exciting fight in my opinion.

Surely he won't try that crap with Vinny. I look for Bader to use his wrestling to stay on his feet. At that point neither of them have the advantage. IMO if the fight will stay standing the first round then Bader wins, but if it goes to the ground before they get a sweat on then Vinny is likely to sub Bader.

I think Bader will end up beating Vinny in the finals. Bader has better stand up than Vinny and better wrestling I dont see Vinny getting Bader down. I am not saying he had to take stupid chances and get subbed but maybe posture up and throw some strikes, attempt some basic guard passes, try pinning down an arm or something. Just show that you are working to improve your position or finish the fight. Its like he decided as soon as he got the takedown "well this round is over, just two more and I win" I just dont agree with that.

I see Vinny pulling guard the second they lock up, followed by a submission shortly after. It won't be an issue of Bader taking him down, but Bader being pulled into guard. A wrestling background doesn't give you a lot of training on how to avoid being pulled into guard, that is pretty contrary to the concepts of wrestling.

i would agree with the 2nd statement, but dont forget he fights again in 2weeks. in your eyes ''going for it'' may be different then how it really is. bader already knew he was winning, why expel excess energy? why risk getting emotional for a more impressive win? its as if a fighter that doesnt go all out with hand strikes, is a scrub. which is furthest from the truth..... remember this guy is trying to win a tournament. not just a single fight. if he did what your saying then vinny would know everything to expect from him.
