"No, it's not true at all. He's full of shit. Let me tell you what Chuck told me. He's gonna break his head open! Yeah, he's pissed."
-- WEC General Manager Reed Harris kept it short and not-so-sweet when Dave Farra asked him on X107.5 Las Vegas if there was any truth to the allegations made by Tito Ortiz that Chuck Liddell is a recovering alcoholic. Ortiz claimed that Liddell was in deep trouble with the disease of alcoholism, until Dana White saved the most dominant light heavyweight champion in recent history through an intervention. Harris was quick to challenge Ortiz's claims, saying that "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" is "full of shit." Whether it is true or not, it seems Tito Ortiz is fully in favor of refueling the fire these two once had between them. Let the games begin ... again.
I think he is full of shit, He will do whatever it takes to get the media's attention, and even if there is truth to his claims it is not his place to announce it. He's a major ******* jackass and not really that great of a fighter.
somebody posted that article about tito calling chuck a recovering alcoholic and it pisssd me off, because even if it was true thats none of his business, glad its not true though, and i hope chuck smashes tito's watermelon head.
has the tuf season started filming yet because this kind of drama is perfect for tv. I can say honestly that this is getting interesting. will tuf give us more door smashing antiqus? will tito's head fit through the door into the house. Will tito getting KTFO replace bisping getting ko'd on my screensaver?
on another note tito you suck dude and you can be sure ill bet the house on chuck, here's hoping he sends you back into retirement with your cracked skull and soon to be broken jaw....
He will never learn... He runs his mouth and loses and then makes excuses about why he lost. The he says he is 100%, then runs his mouth, then loses, then makes excuses for why he wasn't at 100%. I hope Chuck knocks him unconscious.
I actually called this in the other Tito thread. I said...
Also, I don't know if I'm the only one who realized he was taking cheap shots at Liddell by calling him an alcoholic and saying he's proud he beat his addiction. He says it in a way that makes him seem like a good guy when in actuality he only said it make Liddell look bad. Am I the only one who sees through his bullshit?
...LOL! Chuck will again. Now matter how old or slow Chuck is, his hands are still too much for Tito to handle. Chuck has Tito's number and it's makes me wonder why they should even fight again? The 3rd fight will similiar to the first 2.
...I tend to agree that Tito personally is a dork. Professionally, Tito was one of the very best at the double-leg takedown and demolishing guys with nasty elbows & punches in their guard...
I think Chuck is unretiring or going back to Octagon to face Ortiz. Though both are way past their primes, I give Chuck a better chance especially if it goes past 2nd round.
All he does is run his mouth. He's nothing but a big joke nowadays. If only he'd have retired long ago, when he actually had a little credibility left. But no dice, maybe we'll all get lucky and Chuck will break him so badly he has to retire!
He knows that he can't compete with the top dogs anymore, so he needs to talk even more to get the spotlight. And you see it's working for him pretty good
It's sad that Tito Ortiz has to be such a Douche bag There was a point in his career when he had credibility as a fighter. Maybe if he didn't run his mouth so much he'd be a little bit more liked.
I'm sympathetic that he has such disbelief in his actual talent that he try's to talk garbage to stay relevant. Maybe if he spent more time concentrating on fighting, and had more discipline he could be a UFC great. But instead he decides to be a seed of controversy and ruin his name forever. What an idiot. I think MMA fans should just boycott him instead of earning him dollars for tuning in and falling for his tricks.
^i can agree with that. i dont think its that far of a stretch to say he would be a lock for ufc hall of fame if not for some of the things hes said and done outside the octagon-and he would definetly be a fan favorite.
i dont want this to sound the wrong way but he is kinda like wandy to me (minus the douchebag attitude). tail end of his career, might not win a lot more fights but wandy is beloved by the fans because of the competitor and showman that he is. Tito is kind of the opposite and recieves a lot more hate (which he probably deserves).
