Because i've pulled it off and my friend dustin did it in one of his fights. Where does it pull in your arm?

It pulls your arm in the opposite direction it's supposed to bend.

Imagine your arm bending in the opposite direction at the elbow until it broke....

He broke Tim Sylvia's arm with an armbar. He broke it in the center of the forearm though. Tim's elbow slid out and the pressure was then applied to the forearm, and it snapped.

Most times if you can properly apply an armbar it's going to pop at the elbow and bend backwards. It's more often than not an actual break, but rather the capsule in the elbow giving in to the pressure kind of like your shoulder being dislocated and coming out of the socket.

Well I was in a 'wrestling' match (who puts the other on both shoulders wins) with a friend of mine who does MMA, here they call it free fight.

Well, I won the wrestling part, he got pissed and continued cought me in an armbar.

It didnt hurt in the beginning so I tried to stand up, but once he got the right angle I was pretty much shocked (got scared that any longer I wait it can break my arm) that it did actualy hurt so I tapped.

I am sure I could hold a lil longer, but just the idea that my arm can break made me tap.

A friend of mine who was competing in a ***** tournament or something got caught in an arm bar. Dunno why, but he actually didn't feel it at first, so he didn't tap and it snapped. The next thing he hears is a huge crack and the guy who did it started to panic. :D

Lol wow, it hurt the 1st time I got cought and every time after. When I roll with most blue belts and higher they would secure the arm-bar and let me know they got it, if I try to escape or resist then they would torqe down and I would have to tap. (we have good training partners)

When I roll with fellow white belts we usualy go all out, if we secure an arm-bar we torqe down until one of us taps.

For me it feels more uncomfortable than painful. When its torqued back, if you react and panic, it feels more painful than if you sort of detach yourself and think : "Okay, I'm in an armbar. Lets get out of it." Then just pop the leg and roll over.

Its one of the easiest subs to get out of IMO, but its also one of the scariest to be in. I suspect its more likely people tap from fear of danger than agony. I know I've never tapped until I was certain I couldn't get out of it, regardless of pain.

straighten your arm to its limit like you're trying to stick your hand out. Then tense and try to force it a tad further, thats how it feels. When I tried out bjj the teacher arm barred me a couple of times. It wasnt extremely painful, but it was rather uncomfortable and it felt like my shit was going to break.

If I ever competed Id tap extremely quick if caught in such a submission, hence why i dont compete in mma. :D
