Just a quick poll to see who you think he should go up against first, he is IMO the most exciting winner of TUF we've had for a while. Young and with hard work could be very near the top of the MW division.

Why are people so eager to throw him in against solid competition so soon? Court may beat Simpson, C.B., or Grove, but I wouldn't put him in fights he could potentially lose so soon. He just won the ultimate fighter and I wouldn't want him to suffer a loss shortly after. I'd rather see him get built up a little more with some easy opponents. I'm not one to justifying padding records, but his UFC career did just begin and they should build up his name value. He could create a decent fan base in the UFC with his background and SpikeTV recognition. I think this guy has potential, lets not rush it though.

I wouldn't mind him facing a fellow TUF alumni in Tom Lawlor. Or even having him face the winner of Baroni/Salter would work if he dropped to 170 since the winner would obviously be coming off a win as well.

McFedries fan? Court is still pretty green and even Drew McFedries is a big step up, one thing is for sure we would find if he has chin because Drew may be the hardest hitter in the MW division (Cote said nobody he fought hits as hard).

I have hated CB since day one in TUF. He was/ still is the most over rated fighter in the UFC. He has faded out of the picture lately but when he first started in TUF they made him out to be God's gift to MMA. And the whole tap thing. Feed him to Court!!!!!Please hear me MMA gods!!!!!!!!!!!!:pray02:

Although not a top fighter, Drew is still a heavy hitter and Court is still green. He just got off the show and we're still unsure on how he will look as his career unfolds in the UFC. He's in the early prospect stages and should be treated as such. Ryan Jensen is a good first fight after the finale in my opinion.

I think that CB vs. Court would be a toss up. We're still unsure on what Court is capable of at the moment. The only decent fighter he has faced is Jeremy Horn, and he lost a decision, which there is no shame in that. Jeremy has a lot of experience and wasn't able to finish Court who is still in his early prospect stages.

I voted for Dalloway to be first match, because I don't want to see court matched up with someone that may be too big a step for the start, like Nate Marquardt could be. Court has a ton of potential, but needs a bit more experience under the belt IMO.

I can't wait to see him in the Octagon, and I can't wait to support him as a fan. It really seems like some recent seasons of TUF have produced some talented and very fun to watch fighters, such as Amir Sodallah, Ross Pearson, and now Court McGee.

I'm happy with them having him fight Ryan Jensen first. They're building him up properly in my opinion.
