Alright guys. I've recently started messing about on Photoshop again, for the first time in months having recently purchased a new Macbook Pro, so thought I'd show y'all a few of my pieces, and then any new stuff I put together. Would love to hear your opinions.

Here are a few non-mma sig's I've made in the past:

And then I've just started on my first MMA sig. Here's what I've come up with so far:

I'm not 100% sure about it yet, but for my first attempt in a long, long time and my first time using PS CS3 on my Mac, I think it's decent enough. What do you think? Any thoughts on what I could add to the Forrest one to improve it?

Yeah, that was the effect I was going for, don't really think I've pulled it off as I'd have liked. I've got the PSD saved though, so I can always go back to it and tinker with it. Cheers for the feedback =]

Here's the original image btw, to show what I've done with it:

Im really digging most of your work, love the Kanye one but what ever effect you were going for on Forrest's leg and Rampages arm it isn't working for me. It does make me question though if maybe Forrest head kicked Michael Jackson because from the look of Rampages arm his kicks change race.

Haven't gone back to the Forrest one yet, but I have made an Anderson Silva sig this afternoon. As with most of my artworks I'm still not 100% sold on it, and I think it could do with abit of tinkering. But here it is:

What ya think?

Cheers man! Haha, fair point, looking at it again now it does look abit strange. I'll go back to it eventually and change it. Thanks for the feedback though, much appreciated. What did you think of the Silva one?

Here are a couple more I've made. One was made for my Dad's website (the darts one, Peter's my 2nd cousin) and the 2nd is just one I knocked up this morning. Let us know what you think:

I see on the Anderson one the lighting effect over the center pick has straight edges coming straight up and down, on the Darts one the pic cut off his arm on the right side, always try to avoid straight lines like that in the middle of the sig they are obtrusive and look unnatural. Especially avoid using renders in the center that have there arms cut off.

Not sure what you mean about the main Silva render and the straight lines, care to explain?

Yeah, I noticed that on the Darts one once I'd added it, but it's only for my Dad's freewebs site, and he's not too fussed about it, so I left it. What did you think about the Stuart Broad one? It's personally my favourite since I went back to PS, might start on a Fedor one next I think.

Thanks for the feedback again mate, appreciate it!

To the left of Silvas head (left image, forrest punching away and missing epically) and the right of Hendos head the background of the center Silva image is showing slightly and cuts off straight away.

The center images background is still showing and isn't blended well enough in other words.

^^what he said^^

I would also lose the "the spider" text, it doesn't really work here, I have yet to master being able to cut off text and make it work but some guys can do it.

Woah, you guys have good eyes. I hadn't even remotely noticed that until you mentioned it. I think I've still got the PSD so I'll have a play around with it. Cheers for the feedback, really helpful!

Finally got PS CS4 back on my Mac, and made a few quick sigs this evening. I'm not sure if I like the 2 cricket ones, but the Koscheck one just makes me laugh, irrespective of whether it's any good or not, basically just added some text and changed the lighting on a brilliantly photoshopped picture. Anyway, here goes:

Put this together this evening. Gotta love a bit of The Korean Zombie!

Okay, Dan. I just saw The Legend's sig and for some reason it didn't load all the way when I saw it. I could only see until juuuuuust under "Davis" but still all the way across... I'm thinking about uploading it to show you what I mean... anyways I was awe struck by how awesome it was in that form. Reppage even though it wasn't it's final form lol, keep up the good work broseph.

Here you go:

Not made anything for a while, but needed a new sig, so put this together this morning:

Thoughts?

I like the idea. The text is a bit choppy though in places, adding an outer shadow at 100% opacity and 1px size/distance would make the text less flat as well.

They're listed in order below; the 2 is Alan Belcher, and the 5 is Charles Oliveira.

Cheers for the comments guys. How's this Kry?

Any better?

Haha, was quite difficult to find a picture of Belcher that worked with the shape of the 2. The numbers were quite difficult to make work with the pictures, so the guys were somewhat recognisable. I do like the way the Phil Davis one came out though, definitely went the best of all the numbers. Thanks for the comments as well dude. :D
