Anderson Silva indicates he’d love to have a crack at “The Ultimate Fighter” down the

UFC middleweight champion, Anderson Silva has become the latest high profile fighter to put his name forward for a future coaching role on “The Ultimate Fighter” reality show, sparking speculation as to who would be his opposite number.

Speaking via ESPN.co.uk, Silva said:

“I love training with other fighters and would be honoured.”

Silva is set to go head-to-head with former 205 pound champion, Vitor Belfort in just a couple of weeks time, but I’m sure the promotion will have one eye on pairing “The Spider” up with former adversary, Chael Sonnen once the American’s legal problems have been straightened out. Stay tuned to MMABay for more on this as we get it.

That would be pretty epic!

Anderson already did a bit of coaching on TUF, so I'm not surprised to see he's interested in being a full on coach. The sparring with Ryan Bader on TUF 8 was awesome. Bader was walking at him throwing bombs and Andy was just ducking out of the way and connecting with shots. His level of muay thai is just ridiculous, he made Bader look like he was throwing in slow motion. Anderson is one of those fighters you could just watch spar all day and never get bored, so many tricks, so many incredible moves, it'd be a joy to watch him toying with dudes in sparring. Having Chael Sonnen or Michael Bisping on the other team talking shit would just make it even better too.

Well, Dana said recently that GSP vs Silva may happen this year so why not put the as opposite coaches in 14th season of TUF? That would be very good for the UFC putting their two biggest draws in show that promotes UFC very loudly. And if Anderson is having problem with english why don't they do Canada vs Brazil season? Anderson speaks english good enough to speak in interviews about the show and during training he can speak portugese. And brazilians on the show don't have to actually be all portugese-only speaking guys, there are a lot of quality brazilian fighters who speak good enlish.
