the truck isn't worth 44 thousand. Lifted trucks are not worth really any more money than a standard one, you occassionally get the impulse buyer who doesn't know better rushing out to buy it but that truck is only worth about 35-37.

Are you seriously judging someone for this? hahaha

Man MMA fans are judgmental, unreal.

As for lifted trucks, they're retarded and that one looks like it's never even been in the mud or anything. In Attica (NY) if you have a lifted jeep/truck/landrover it's because you're trying to tackle black diamond trails or cut through the woods to get to work early. But I guess doing it to look tough is okay, especially when you're one of the toughest guys on earth. ;)

That's flawed logic. It's lose/lose in your opinion. Either he shouldn't be selling the truck (he's bored with it, it happens when you finish a big project) because he should just keep it, or he should be able to afford to have two trucks for no reason.

He wants to start a new project probably and has the money to do it, he's likely going to get a good amount for it since he consigned the truck to this dealer and has a bit of celebrity.

I guess he should buy a used three-cylinder geo metro with 100k miles, that way he could appease the a guy on some forum.
Stop being a big head and listen. Cain has a truck in perfect condition low miles and wants to get another truck to replace it , which is fine but not money wise since he isnt the highest paid guy ever and has no need for a new truck thats all he was saying.

What?? Dude honestly without being a D-bag. I dont have a damn clue what your point is.

Cains name obviously doesnt change the truck in any shape or form. BUT it does make it worth more then that EXACT same truck would without him owning it.

That is all im saying.

Now unless you are trying to say that Name Value doesnt mean jack squat. Then we really have nothing to argue about right??

And again.. i really am not trying to be a D-bag. Im just having a hard time understanding what you are trying to argue here.

That's what opinions are for, you must be one big Cain fan because whenever I stated my opinion, you seem to think that I can't judge or give my opinion on someone who has done something.

You need to get over the fact that not everyone will agree with what your favorite fighter does or says. I am sure Cain doesn't care or any other fighter for that matter, what we forum people have to say.

This truck was given to Velasquez by Ford during the filmed UFC Primetime shows leading up to his bout with Lesnar. As a matter of fact, Lesnar has the exact same truck (with additional advertising by Jimmy John's) that he also drove around during the Primetime episodes.

These were free to the fighters as part Ford was the promotional sponsor.

Sylvia was the JDS to Ricco's Cain.

For history to repeat its self all that would need to happen is Cain get cocky decide he is gonna knock JDS out and then get layed out trying before going on a serious bender.

Why do people spend 40k on a truck? I like trucks for moving shit, mudding and off roading. Why not get something far more reasonably priced to do those things? It my just be me and my experience but trucks aren't exactly a strong indicator of high social status. Get a nice car, fast car or even an suv IMO.

Woah off topic but Jesus... I'm sitting in a dr waiting room and this girl gets shut down. No medical treatment because she couldn't afford it. I gotta say I'm really proud to be American :(

You look like a badass driving a big truck :confused05:

Yeah that sucks for her.. BUT

LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT!!
:thumb02:

Naw just kidding. That does suck that they didnt let her in. M.C. would know what im talking about BUT if i was a doctor i would try my best to pull shit like Dr.Cox and JD do for the patients. How you can tell someone that is sick that they cant get help because they cannot afford it, is just sad.

To the people arguing about something they know nothing about, go price a one or two year old pickup and see what you're gonna spend. Especially a base F-150 with heated seats being the highlight:laugh: The only thing "big" on that truck are the atrocious wheels.

New vehicles lose 25% of their value as soon as you drive it off the lot. Doesn't matter if Cain's left slug trails on the seats it ain't worth what he's wanting. BUT, like someone said, the buyer will be a well off Velasquez fan that buys it at anywhere near that price.

The Raptor is I guess a cooler truck but it's only a halfton. You spend 44 grand on an older Ford truck and you'd have more power, offroad capability, better mileage, stereo, etc...

If Cain can make some greenbacks off a free truck than more power to him. I for one, would like to see him get a GM product. He'd be much better off:)

Toxic, I am honestly hurt and insulted by the GM is crap comment:(

Why would you say such things? GM has made the baddest engines and most bitchin looking trucks for the last 60 years.

The small block chevy debuted in 1955 and was used in some form until the late 1990's if not later. The best v-6 besides maybe the Buick turbo v-6 was the 4.3. It was just a 350 chevy with a cylinder lopped off.

The LS series engines are capable of 500hp with a cam and head swap on a junkyard shortblock. Not too mention, in a Camaro with a 6 speed they're capable of 25-26 mpg on the highway.

Did you have a bad experience with a GM or what? There has to be a reason for this aggression:thumbsdown:

Actually I had an 1986 Iroc with the 305 TPI engine and I loved it. I just dislike the way most chev vehicles drive, they feel loose and sloppy. I also work in the oil field were vehicles take alot of abuse and the front suspension/steering on GM's just do not hold up at all.

I am extremely relieved by the IROC comment:) I'm guessing you're experience with sloppy driving GM's has to do with the fact that they are oil rig trucks. Maybe just high mileage vehicles???

I've dealt with those oil field guys for the better part of seven years and no brand of truck stands up to that kind of abuse. If a truck is a diesel, even worse. The weight of those things will wear out any and all front suspensions.

I have a GM vehicle that's 39 years old that I've had to 140 plus MPH with no front end work and felt as safe as you could expect at that speed:)

GM is a great brand, I just hope you come to the same conclusion sooner rather than later:thumbsup:
