Dayum, just dayum. I think he really does have a chance to get the title again.

Yeah I knew Machida was going to win and by a finish, but the way he walked in all energetic, and agressive. He is different, he wasn't even wearing his gi today, Machida has evolved lets see what he can do now.

I thought you were going to say Georges St Pierre is the new Machida, win with minimal contact.
Lol f GSP.

Put him against your Jacksons and your Ruas and then we'll talk.

Beautiful finish. I give him that. But a win over a nearly 50 year old Randy on the eve of his retirement may not merit title talks just yet. Remember... we've been down the 'Machida era' path before. No more jumping the gun.

Machida needs a couple more fights. Definitely think they should keep him away from Shogun and test his wcounter-wrestling/submission ability against a more dynamic grappler (Davis comes to mind). And then depending on how things workout elsewhere at LHW, after maybe another win (assuming a win over Davis), a rubber match with Shogun for #1 contender.

Yeah I agree, Shogun just happens to be that guy who Is a counter to Machida but he could be overcome by his wrestling if he uses it.
