It really looked like Dana just pulled that date out of the air, I would not be surprised if Brock is out of action for longer than 6 months.
I also worry about Brocks health. If he keeps eating the masses of calories and protein required to be a 300lb beast is that going to cause diverticultis to keep coming back?
yeah gtfo dude, Lesnar is a cardio machine, watch TUF once in your life ok? lol he's a beast and if he needed Gauranteed, he'd go 3-5 rounds like a champ. I hope he has a speedy recovery!
I think the colon is about around 4.5 feet long. Not sure how significant it is taking away 12inches from it, sounds serious enough though. Hope he make a quick recovery from this.
I had a very similar surgery 11 years ago. My colon actually tore (diverticulitis related)and I had to have emergency surgery. Unfortunately, I had a colostomy bag for 3 months after the surgery and that was pretty tough to get used to. The surgeon removed about a foot of my colon and told me there was plenty of colon to spare. When all of the infection finally cleared up, he removed the bag and put me back together again.
Brock may not need the bag; but, he will face quite a bit of recovery and that will take some time. I think Dana is being generous in his prediction of Brock's return. Brock's system will need to return to normal and he will be pretty weak from the surgery. But, a full recovery is possible...I'm living proof and am by no means the athlete Brock is. Brock has a huge edge there.
