Speaking via LifeSports.ru, Aleksander said:

“They sat like two amoebas, and did not know what to say. They were asked direct questions and would say, “It is difficult to say… we will see in the fight,” – what kind of a coach says that? Only one who doesn’t understand the sport. I just call them ‘Stopwatch’ and ‘Towel’. That’s as much use as they are, that’s it,”

“[MMA] is constantly improving, but ‘Stopwatch’ and ‘Towel’ have not changed anything in the program – just frozen in time and not been able to develop the base that Fedor already has. Fedor could train himself, he must take on it personally, to rethink many of the training points to learn and develop. Suffer and work!

“We’ll talk with Fedor – whether he wants to change something in his preparation. If he wants to, I will make the effort.”

Fedor hasn't seemed to have a solid gameplan for a long time. He usually comes in and wins by whatever he wants... seems like he's always gone on instinct. Since this has started to fail maybe a few months with Greg Jackson could help him. I know people are going to say he'll make him boring, but Fedor has such a great killer instinct a little better planning might be just what the doctor ordered.

I think Fedor is the type to go down with the ship, way to loyal to leave his comrades. Can't hate that, but I hate the fact he never moved to a legit mma camp with other UFC/Strikeforce fighters. It's the only way to stay up to date.

The leeches that is his management and coaches are too much ingrained in Fedor. Judging by the whole M-1/UFC hoopla that happened (and continues to happen to a certain extent) several years ago and his demeanor, it sounds to me like they have that man brainwashed. I would love for Fedor to swtich camps, but politics (both political and religious) play a major role in this. Do not underestimate the power of the red curtain, nor the power of his clergymen.
