Hi, my name is Jimmy Knotts I stay in the Northwest Indiana area and train at Old Firehouse Community Center in Gary, IN which also doesn't charge me anything as well to train there when they aren't hosting any classes. I'm not style or competition type discriminatory as long as the person wants to help me out improve my current grappling and wrestling skills as well as theirs. Along with to help me accomplish my future goals regarding my grappling and wrestling along with theirs in the process I'll be more than happy to train with them. If you can help me out or are looking for another person to train with please contact me at graciegarage219@yahoo.com to see if we can talk about training and grappling with each other. I'm trying to start a Veteran & Senior wrestling club in the area as well so that we can compete in tournaments in the Veteran and Senior divisions and also do the numerous Submission Grappling/ BJJ tournaments in our area. Also bring your friends and any other people you know that stay in the Northwest Indiana area that would like to train with us as well. The more people we can train with the better thanks to anyone that can help me out.

dude..why not buy a grappling dummy? If you cannot find a partner, I think a grappling dummy would suffice and maybe when you'll have your chance to wrestle with a real human you would be quicker and more prepared. I'm just saying, but it's up to you if you wanna have one. You could also pay a BJJ practitioner to be your dummy, an hourly rate would cost about 10 bucks or less. Don't wait for things to happen, make things happen.

I do train with people but I'm always looking for more people to train with in my area. So far I have two training partners and I'm looking for more preferably other wrestlers that are looking for other people to wrestle with too. Also there are no Senior and Veterans wrestling clubs in NW Indiana and the closest one is an hour and 45 minutes away in Chicago (just going there) which is a little on the pricey side. (not including membership either) Then also factor in I have my own place to train at for free so that is no membership fees for a place to train at. As long as I find people to train with and can improve my skills as well as theirs we always have a guaranteed and free place to train at.

That's nice but they're not always available to roll with. I mean if you really want to train you have to go to the gym or have a training partner living with you or at least living close to your house. A year ago my friend had the same problem just like you. I can't roll with him because I'm just a MT practitioner back then. Then he decided to buy a grappling dummy, I think it's the submission master. Problem solved. You have a place to train, right? That's a huge advantage, having a partner and a place to train.
