It's that time again! You may have read that Season 14 will be the last season of TUF on Spike. That happens to be true, but that doesn't mean we're going to take our foot off the gas for a minute. With 32 hungry fighters walking in the door and the intensity of coaches Michael Bisping and Jason "Mayhem" Miller, you can bet that we're going to go out with a bang.
The fourteenth season of TUF kicks off with a two-hour premiere on September 21 at 9/8c, and it's going to blow the roof off the joint.

Having said that, it's time to meet the 32 men who will vie to become The Ultimate Fighter.

I'm excited to see what Mayhem has up his sleeve! And you know Bisping will have his share of shit talk! We are just a couple weeks away so lets get started! There are some experienced fighters coming in and some...not so much.

Mayhem's humour grows on me more each week. Sure, he pokes fun at Team Bisping, but it's lighthearted and not offensive -- except to Bisping himself, apparently.

Maybe Team Bisping should tone down the pre-fight insults. They're not working.
Bahaha exactly. Bisping's always been like that, it makes me cringe. Can't take a joke at all and always reacts.

It'd be fine if at least Bisping's retorts were even half witty or clever, but again, I end up cringing.

Miller cracks me up, I loved the 'protect yourself at all times' and starts beating the crap out of one of his guys with a foam tube. Guy knows how to enjoy himself.

Hope he beats Bisping but tbh I think it stays on the feet and Mike outpoints him all night long.

Even though I'm not a Bisping fan (not a 'hater' either however), I'm damn curious to see where he'd be in the rankings if he had huge KO power. He'd be a force at 185 if he did. Such a shame he can't get out of the habit of never stepping on his punches.

Looking forward to next weeks episode, can't wait to see some of the house drama and Miller/Bisping arguing for real.

...Oh and the fight I spose... :D

So am I the only one that thinks Bedford is a mini Forrest Griffin? He's well rounded guy, has lots of heart, used his size advantage and wrestling to grind out a victory (Like Forrest's fight with Rich Franklin), and he even kinda looks like him. Thoughts?

Can't believe Ive missed this thread!

anyway...

As a fan of Bisping and Miller, this season has been great for me. both teams seem to have some legit prospects for a change and the fights have been impressive so far.

Bisping's team need to drop that chanting/insulting thing pre-staredown/fight. It's cringeworthy to say the least.

Deffo looking forward to next weeks episode to see a bit of in-house fighting etc.

Welcome!! Lol. Yeah the prefight chats annoy me to no end. It sounds like a highschool softball team

Well team Bisping is far from out, he's got three pretty big talented guys left in Akira, Diego, and T.J. I can see Akira and Diego making the finals for FW.

I can also see Team Miller sweeping the BW's now as Dodson gets "punished" by facing T.J. and Delorme beats John Albert.

Guys love to thank Jesus after beating the $hit out of someone.
I was coming here to post that.
What a ridiculous shaite!
These religious guys really know how to praise their masters...
Beating the crap out of people, planting some bombs... yeah i really think that's to way to love the next!

On a side note, Bisping advice's during fights are terrible, he's just there screaming the obvious with that irritating voice of his.
If i was one of his fighters i'd ask him to please shut up.

What was with Bisping giving his guy a black eye before the fight? Seriously? He got mad at the guy calling him out for going too hard the day before a fight, guess what Bisping, the kid was right! Rich Franklin typically walks around with a black eye, but he doesn't get it the night before.

Bisping doesn't seem to have any real strategy when it comes to his fighters either. He focuses on what they do best but doesn't seem to try to band-aid their weak points,

Extra points to Miller, he really seems to have this whole coaching thing figured out. Especially focusing on the knees when he knew the opponent would be at a significant height disadvantage to make the useful.

Also, next week looks epic, I wonder who starts the fight at the weigh in?!?

Wow Bisping was kinda speechless when Miller put him in his place. I was expecting Miller to be more obnoxious but Bisping is still a jackass. Bisping tried to get in one of Millers coaches face and then gets all defensive when Miller jumps in front of him. Sorry Bisping but I don't think Dana will change the fight and let you fight a coach. Although to be honest it wouldn't surprise me if they did to try and make him Bisping look good.

People wonder why guys wait till the ref stops the fight to release submissions. Akira defiantly tapped in the first and then kept fighting.
