In the early days wrestlers liked to use shoes so they can get more traction when attempting takedowns, throws, slams and posturing up. Ken Shamrock and i think Mark Colman used shoes alot too. But yes the is a huge detriment when you go up against submission artist that can complete leg submissions well.
I recall watching this years and years ago and use to be a bigger Frank Shamrock fan then a Dan fan. Started loving Dan once he joined pride but this video is still funny to watch hearing Dan talk crap only to be tapped. Coming from a massive Dan fan. :thumb02:
I've not seen it before. And last time I checked, I'm very real and also a fan of MMA.:confused02:
On a side note, it's always good to see Dan lose. Shame it doesn't happen very often.
