The lightweight title was introduced in a bout between Caol Uno and Jens Pulver at UFC 30.

1st Champion: Jens Pulver, defeated Caol Uno, held title from UFC 30 until UFC 35. Lost title due to Vacation.

BJ Penn and Caol Uno tried fighting for the vacated lightweight title at UFC 41 but the match ended in a draw. Rumor has it that the title will be returning at UFC 63 when Florian and Sherk fight for it. But it is not confirmed yet.

He's doing it because all the people he doesn't like had threads on page 1 and he's trying to push them all back to the 2nd page so not as many people see them. He's a troll and hopefully will be gone soon.

Come on Rush, I thought you were better informed then that. The announcement has already been made that it will be Sean Sherk v Kenny Florian at UFC64.
