How Would Badr Hari fair against...

As some of you know I am a fairly big fan of K-1. My favorite fighter to watch is none other than the bad boy himself, Badr Hari. Badr's aggression, power, and accuracy has made him the most exciting K-1 fighter since Peter Aerts. Anyways, I was wondering how you think Badr would do against some of the UFC's elite strikers. How do you guys think Badr would do against Jones, JDS, or even Struve in a striking match (no takedowns)? Overeem and Hari are currently 1-1 both having knocked each other out once.

Personally I think JDS vs. Badr would be an intense match. Badr has the speed and power on JDS but he gets a little wild during exchanges and I think JDS striking is more refined. I honestly would love to see this fight and not sure how it would go down. I predict someone is getting knocked out, that's for sure. Whether it's Badr getting countered after a wild swing or JDS just not being able to deal with the initial onslaught.

I think Jones would get tooled in all honesty. Jones has some unorthodox striking but I don't think he would have an answer the the intense power and technique Badr has. Plus Jones won't be able to use his reach as an advantage: Badr is very tall with long arms. I think Jones would wilt in the first round from a barrage of combos.

Struve would be interesting but I think it would look a lot like Badr vs Semmy 1. Struve could do it though if he can keep Badr away from him, 'cause once Badr gets inside the pocket those hooks are lethal.

In case you have never seen Badr (I highly recommend you turn the volume down the music is just....awful):

Honestly I think I would be more terrified standing across the ring from this man than any other fighter.

I've always loved watching Hari fight. I don't much care for Badr Hari the man, but Badr Hari the fighter is a pleasure to watch. If we're talking strictly standup affairs, I don't see an elite UFC striker that he doesn't match up well with. I'd put my money on Badr against the likes of the Overeem we just saw, Struve, and I'd have a hell of a time choosing between Hari and JDS. Like you said, I could see JDS's composure and ability to stay calm and pick his shots giving him the slight edge. We've seen Hari get caught in wild exchanges, and JDS is great at finding those openings.

I'd love to see Hari against the likes of Belfort and Silva as well. I know we're getting into different weight classes now, but it'd be cool to see what Silva could do against someone with Badr's skill set, height, and range.

I was thinking about the Anderson fight as well, but I really wonder if the size and reach would just be too much for Silva. They both like to counter-strike. Anderson is an amazing striker and I would never count him out, but Hari is 6 foot 6 and has a very similar build to Anderson. Straight up size and reach advantage, but like I said I would never count out Anderson. I actually think Anderson is probably an equal if not better striker than Badr. It would be a pretty intense fight for sure.

To be honest I think Vitor would get knocked out in round one. Badr has counter-striking style that would perfectly match Vitor's onslaught. A lot of the time Bade waits for a big strike then unloads with several combos.

No doubt he would get submitted quickly. I was thinking more along the lines of some the UFC brass testing their striking against Hari. Mark Hunt would be another great fight I forgot to mention. Would love to see Overeem vs Hari 3.
