swank shin/instep guards

if i wanted heavy duty shin and instep guards do they have to come from a well-known muay thai associated brand, like windy or fairtex??

like the awesome ones the lucky tuf bastards get

i don't know what you would call "swank", but most thai shin gaurds are expensive. Usually around $50-$60.

I have Everlast ones and they are great:) :thumbsup:
