I know there is only like one in a hundred but pretend ortiz coming in for the takedown and shammy knocks him out. Does ortiz still get a title shot. There isn't really anyone else unless they give babalu another one and tell him not to be a dumbass and use a little stratagy this time. I think ortiz would still get one cause shamrock is retireing win or lose.
Yeah I think your right and I also think that Dana White is so sure Ortiz will win that he's already preparing for Ortiz Liddell2. That would be interesting to see what would happen if shamrock wins. I think its dumb that Ortiz's way of making it up to a title includes fighting Shamrock seeing that Shamrocks garbage now but Ortiz diserved this rematch from when he lost a few years back to liddell.
Yeah it is dumb. I knwo shamrock will more then likely get worked. But the best thing about mma is anything can happen. It takes one punch and shamrock has the power. And you see upsets when one fighter is thinking past a fighter or is overconfident.
If Tito loses to Shamrock then Forrest Griffin could get thrown in there with Liddell. He did have a really close fight with Ortiz. And how about a Stephan Bonnar vs. Ken Shamrock fight? :dunno: Lets get it on!
I could see a Stephan Bonnar/Ken Shamrock fight. I don't think Shamrock will retire after the Ortiz fight, especially if he loses. I think if he were to retire he would want to go out on top, with a big win. Unfortunately, that will never happen and Dana White will end up firing his ass on his 60th birthday.
i will try to find you a source bro , for some reason im thinking Shamrock said it on a radio interview (maybe with sherdog) but ill try to find it for you
I am a big Shamrock fan no matter what, but the fact remains he WAS a great fighter, and he'll always have that to his name. But I doubt he'll ever get a major victory over anyone even worthy of fighting him.
colemen as much as i hate him would probably win. Shamrock's biggest fault is he trians with fighter's he better then. The lion's den is nothing without frank who is rarely there. Colemen has lots of good talent in hammer house although they are all ego maniacs. That's why everyone from that time got better and he didn't.
:cheeky4: How can Tito possibly improve at all preparing for Chuck when all hes doing is preparing for Ken? So of course Chuck will win easily mid way through the second by knock out.
canpaddle
:cheeky4: Yes and also dont you think that so many fighters that need that take down are having some hard times getting it because the fighters today are training better to stop it?? So sometimes I think that these guys are at a little disadvantage cause lots of fights lately have remained standing.
Ken Shamrock is going to win plain and simple. He was robbed in his matches with Tito Ortiz, especially the second one. He wasn't the one who wanted the first fight stopped, infact he was dominating but the referee said no that cut is nasty you can't sorry Shamrock. Then Herb Dean robs him again. Terrible. Shamrock by leg lock in a minute.
I would love to see Shamrock win, but I don't think it will happen. Either way, Ortiz is scheduled to fight Liddell on December 30th.
