I think this could be a great match. IM going to have to go with parisyan for this fight.

Diego....

Would love to see diego get his ass handed to him.... dont know why i dislike him so much.... i dont think he truly deserves his 17-0 record....i would love to see him against a true mma badass like St Pierre or Matt hughes.... i still think he is being nurtured by the UFC because of his tv show popularity....money,money,money:thumbsdown:

The Nightmare, huh...

You know, his standup was kind of a nightmare in that last fight. If Alessio had been smart he would have kept his hooks tight and taken some elbows to the back of Sanchez head.

Oh, and if their gonna stick with this whole "Bitter Rivals" bit, it will probably be between Sanchez and Diaz and not Sanchez and Parysian.

As much as I'd like to see Karo snap one of diego's arms off, I'd like to see Nick Diaz slug him in the face even more.

If Diaz could defend Sanchez takedowns like Alessio he could just slap him around the ring and would have a good chance of getting the KO or at least a doctor stoppage from a cut. After all it's obvious that Diego can cut pretty easy. Not that I like it when I fight gets stopped due to cuts. That actually pisses me off.

Alessio had that fight won. the judges gave snachez that fight
no he didnt have the fight won, all he did was run all fight long, you cant win a fight on just defense...maybe if he did ne thing in the last round id agree, but diego clearly was the only one who had a chance to finish the fight!!

And what exactly did Sanchez do to win the fight? Was it all his failed takedown attempts or his dry humping Alessio for the last round?

Sanchez had the opportunity, but he didn't use it. Like you said, all he did was dry hump Alessio. If he had some elbows or a good solid submission the fight wouldn't have gone to the judges and we wouldn't need to have this discussion.

I hate watching fights go to the judges.

Should be good

It will be a good match up. Karo does not look like much but that dude can scrap. I used to like Diego but not so much anymore. Although I think he won that fight with Alessio. Alessio could have won easy I think, but it looked more like he was just trying not to lose.

This is a funny, but important, difference that you touched on. Alessio was trying not to get submitted and he wasn't thinking about how he could have submitted or KO'd Diego.

I actually think that the fight would have gone to Alessio if he had worked a little bit harder to get Diego's hooks out, but there's no use whining now.

I would love to see sanchez v parysian, because I think that Karo does everything that Diego does, and I think Karo does it better. I definitely think that Karo has better subs, better takedowns and better striking.
