Well unfortunately I can't find out how many grams each pill is. It doesn't say anywhere. I only weigh 126 so I figure instead of 4-6 @ 4 times/day I should take 2-4 @ 4 times a day, and when it's 3-6 @ once or twice/day I do 1-3 once or twice/day...do you guys think that would suffice. And also do you really think it's a good idea to take creatine on an empty stomach?

Next time I get some I will get the powder. This shit was just cheap and I just wanna try it out before I start spending more than $20 every cycle.

Controlled Labs makes some great products.

White Flood. Holy Shit, I'll tell you what. My workouts have never been more intense
What would you mix that with? That sounds good but I've never made a creatine shake and I always have chocolate for my protein. I always wondered what you mix fruity flavors with.

Usually Creatine Shakes are fruity flavors, so it's always best to mix it with Water. Not only will it taste better but it's good to have a high water intake when you take a creatine product because Creatine draws waterinto muscle cells.

Usually Protein drinks are bold flavors like Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, Coffee and can be mixed with either water or milk but Milk makes it taste a whole lot better.

Also some Creatine Powders that are meant to be miced with water tatse horrible so some peole just dump a scoop in their mouth and wash it down with water.

For White Flood, I mix 1 1/2 scoops in a shaker bottle wit 16-20oz of water.

As always make sure when you are using creatine you drink at least a gallon of water a day. If you don't drink enough water, no matter what creatine product your taking, it will do nothing.

Secondly make sure you get a Liver Support Supplement or Milk Thistle to take.

Also I don't know if you've already made purchase but,

-the best Creatine Pill bar none is Gaspari Nutrition SizeOn
-The best Pre Workout Drink IMO, is White Flood
- The best Creatine Recovery Shake is Vitargo CGL

Its actually good to take creatine with something sugary, with a high GI. The insulin that your body produces to transport the sugar into your cells, also transports the creatine to your muscle cells.

OK I just got the bottle in the mail today and before I start taking it I need someone to answer this question for me.

The instructions say to take 4-6 capsules 4 times daily for the loading phase and 3-6 capsules once or twice daily for the maint phase. Now I never ever take medicine or anything just a multivitamin occassionally so I need to know does that mean I take about 4 pills, 4 times a day?...so I would be taking like 16 capsules a day? Cuz that seems like a lot...or does it mean I take a TOTAL of about 4-6 capsules for the whole day while splitting them up between 4 times in the day?

Basically I am asking for the loading phase do I take 16-24 capsules a day or do I take 4-6 capsules a day while splitting them up throughout the day?

+Rep to the first person to answer me.
Yes, it's crazy but true, the directions for loading are to take a TON. In this case, it is to take 16-24 caps a day. To be honest, I do not believe in the whole loading phase. I have cycled creatine many times, and I have never felt a difference when I load or when I just start on the maintenance phase. My thought is that it makes you go through your bottle faster, therefore you end up buying more bottles. Do what you are comfortable with, especially if you are using a supplement that is new to you. I take only what works for me, nothing more. Like you, I'm currently only taking multi's, but when I do a lot of lifting consistently, I like to cycle creatine. I agree with biodarwin... Look for the USP on the label. If it is not pharmacopeia approved, you never know, it may be mostly filler. USP approved supps are much more potent and reliable, as well as regulated.

I don't know man, seems potent... too potent to not have side-effects.

"Use of creatine as a food supplement is on the rise. Despite its usefulness, creatine is found to have some side effects albeit few. The most common side effect is weight gain due to more water in the muscle and increase in the lean-muscle tissue. Other side effects observed were dehydration, muscle cramps, nausea, diarrhea, gastrointestinal distress and seizures. For persons with existing kidney or renal disorders, creatine was found to cause renal stress because of more stress on the kidneys.

The long-term effects of taking creatine over a long period of time haven’t been established yet. "

That's pretty much what you hear about any drug on any commercial because there's always somebody out there who it will affect differently, like people with kidney problems in this case. If you do have kidney problems, creatine is not a good idea. If you're totally healthy, no allergies, diseases, whatever, it's totally ok as long as you take it intelligently. I am very prudent when it comes to taking supplements, but I believe highly in creatine. I do stress the importance of cycling though, because I'm very careful about it. Even when I didn't cycle it, I didn't see any adverse effects, and neither did my training partners. The weight gain and increase in muscle mass is usually expected by its consumers, and the other side effects listed are common when people don't use creatine intelligently... such as drinking plenty of water.
