- Ritchie Hightower is an annoying twat.

- When Ritchie said "Mac only talks tough to me when his team is around" was probably the most asinine thing I've ever heard of TUF. Ritchie Hightower is an untalented piece of shit that would get absolutely destroyed by Mac.

- It was obvious "J-Rock" went on his little rampage to catch some attention and be the focus of the house. No one else got that mad, hell even Mac didn't get that upset.

- How can anyone be intimidated when they hear "J-Rock" speak?

- This show may be the pits, but in my opinion Mac Danzig is one of my favorite fighters to ever be on TUF. He seem like a prick to some, but what he does that's different from other pricks is he tells it like it is, without being a complete prick, he knows what he's talking about with pretty much everything.

- Speaking of Mac, they should just rename this show "TUF: Mac" because this show was taylor made for Mac to win it, the other 15 fighters are just pure crap.

- Ben Saunders is one of the worst fighters on this show, and I'll tell you why. He beat Barrera in a slugfest, no skill there. He also had Tommy in a solid arm bar. I don't care how "strong" Tommy is, the submission was there. The fact that Ben couldn't make Tommy tap from that arm bar means he's one of the worst fighters on this show.

- Speaking of Ben, he's also one of the more annoying people on the show next to Ritchie. He's a tall, goofy looking hick with those lame ass sideburns of his, also thinks he's being cool and tough by smiling before the fight. I didn't see him smiling when Tommy was dropping punches and elbows on his creepy ass face.

- The 4 remaining are obviously the best fighters on this show. Although 3 of them still suck shit, these 4 are the best fighters. The fact that it is told that one fighter will not be able to compete in their semi-final match means that they're going to bring 1 unworthy shitty fighter back into the semi-finals, even shittier then George, Matt, and Tommy, which is scary.

- If Mac Danzig is the one that can't fight next week, I will not watch the rest of this show.

Nice little summation. I agree with you on all points. Mac is my pick to win the tournament, and people whom rip on him only do so because of just how genuinely real he is. He's not there to make friends. He's not there to be a reality tv sensation. He's there to win, and if some ass like Hightower decides to act a fool, I'm glad someone like Mac is around to call him on it. War Machine and Hightower are flat out sad to watch, be it as fighters, or be it as human beings.

And to those whom rag on tonight's fight, I say lighten the hell up. These kids are doing the best with what they've got, and if you're looking for a PPV quality match, then don't tune in. How anyone can say that Tommy laid and prayed for two rounds is beyond me. I guess Ben's face bruised and bloodied itself... must be an unknown after effect of the flu. Some of you aren't very bright.

i think if mac gets hurt im gonna laugh til my lungs implode. the guys a total douche. and of course he's better than everyone else, hes got more experience than his whole team put together.

in response to DeLarge's comment about Ben being bad b/c he didnt make tommy tap with the armbar: you can't tap everyone with an armbar. my elbow can hyperextend. you couldnt tap me unless you had some extra point of leverage closer to my elbow than any armbar allows. same is probably true with tommy, because his arm was definitely hyperextended. it will cause tendon problems later on but still... ben had that armbar by the book. it's not his fault tommy didnt tap. to say that ben is bad because he couldn't force someone to tap with a perfectly executed armbar is ignorant.

mac definitely is not a great fighter. anyone can look good when you put them in with people who arent as experienced or as proficient as themselves. the other fighters arent bad either, they are just inexperienced. fighters from the first 3 seasons had the advantage of competing in smaller promotions long before being on the show. that is to say they had PROFESSIONAL records. Diego Sanchez, Nate Quarry, Luke Cummo, Kenny Florian had all competed in promotions like RotR, KOTC, etc. the biggest issue with this season is the casting.

that armbar wasnt exactly perfectly executed. if you look back both of his legs were above tommy's chest. you have to have one leg over the face and another across the chest right below both arms. that was why tommy held in so long, because he wasnt being held down by ben's legs.

Some really valid points . . . like Hightower being worthless and annoying. But some of your ponts are really skewed, however, like Ben being the worst fighter on the show. He's mediocre, for sure, but not the worst. It's sad when biases adversely affect judgement.

I can certainly understand your Mac nut-hugging ranting, but to say the other 3 fighters "suck shit" makes me wonder how much alcohol you consumed before writing! Mac hasn't demonstrated that he's a fighting god, or even a demi-god, for that matter. I've observed some excellent skills and talent from him - but he's not the only one.

What I haven't seen from George, Matt, or Tommy is the kind of "I know everything and I'm better than all of you losers" annoying attitude displayed by Danzig. He isn't all he thinks he is, even if he ends up winning it all.

fair enough. how about "perfectly executed for a guy who was vomiting, feverish and breathing out his mouth the whole fight"?

after watching it again i saw he didnt have the wrist turned the right way (at least from the camera angle) the thumb didnt look like it was pointing up. still, ben (like most guys on the show) doesnt have much experience. I hate that he lost that match... i think if he hadnt been so sick he would have gotten at least one round.

Honestly man, I think Ben is one of the best on the show (which doesn't say much). I like how creepy and freakin weird he is. He actually reminds me of the lead singer from Static-X. Plus, you've got to admire his attitude post-fight. He was pissed he lost, but he didn't want to use the "sickness" as an excuse because it would take away from what Tommy achieved. Plus, the fake bawling during the walk of shame was priceless. "I almost won it!"

J-Roc freaking out was funny to me because all he did was say the same thing over and over again like a broken record, "who f*ckin sh*t in our toilet, dude!?" Or something to that effect. I heard it so many times I thought I was hallucinating. I can still hear him in my mind, but I'm picturing it coming from a little leprechaun with his voice.

Danzig cracked me up when Miles wanted him to promise not to freak out when he tells him what happened. "You sure you want to tell me?" And Billy says, "f*ck it, I'm tellin you anyway." I was expecting Mac to lose it completely. I think Danzig was smart enough not to really start anything with Hightower in the living room and expected his guys to hold him back.

Hightower exceeded my expectations for him in the octagon, but he is a total annoying bitch. I'd go crazy in that house if I had to deal with him. Especially drunk Hightower. Did anyone else laugh when Richie gave Rude a hug and squished his dip in his lip?

I'd say, good episode overall, except I wish Ben would have made it to the semis.

Wow man I agree with some of the things you are saying but you think Mac is the only good fighter there?

this must be the first TUF you have watched because its about getting FUTURE top contenders or champions for the UFC . They are not supposed to be the best of the best outside of the ufc even though i dont think Blake should be there.

I also dislike Hightower but he is a decent fighter as he was winning the stand up against George.
If Mac is the injured fighter in the semis im going to be pissed bcas he would of won it and should win it.

P.S did any1 see the takedown defence by J-rock lol when War machine tried to hold him.

I agree with you on everything except for saying that all the fighters besides Mac a shit. I think George is very good, Tommy, while not the most technical fighter, is tough and strong as hell, and aroyo isn't too bad. Everyone else on the show I would agree was pretty bad. I'm just glad Hightower got beat pretty good.
