Hi. I recently realized my dream of becoming a mixed martial artist. I'm not in that good of shape, but I got a black belt in Taekwondo if that helps. I just want to know what kind of stuff I can do to get in shape and whatnot and keep in shape. Ya know the whole package, flat stomach and toned chest lol. I'm young (15) so I think I can pull it off lol. So anything you guys can recommend?

Well if it is your dream to be a mixed martial artist then the first thing I would do is find a gym that trains in BJJ and or kickboxing. If this is not an option, start training like a mixed martial artist, I personaly train everyday except Sunday, starting with sprints in the morning 5am. Then I will train a different muscle group for that day. I vistit my gym twice a week tues, thurs for BJJ and Kick Boxing.
Mon-Sprints,Biceps,Triceps.
Tues-Sprints,legs,abs, BJJ&KB.
Wed-Sprints,chest.
Thurs-Sprints, abs, BJJ&KB.
Fri-Sprints, Shoulders and back.
Sat-Sprints,abs,enurance lifting(lift weights that target all major muscle groups, 10 reps, 10 sets, no rest!
Sunday-rest, Watch the vikings!!
I hope this helps some.

Pretty much what he said. If your serious about mma you will need to be on some type of lifting program. Any local gym can set you up with one easily. Alot of sit ups = hard ab's. I do a 100 every day. Then you can start adding weights when you do sit-ups for even better results. Also it would be good to enroll yourself into some jj, wrestling, karate and ect...You pretty much need to be decent in every area to surive in mma. Good luck
