I just want to say that before he wins on Saturday against Amir and becomes the ultimate fighter I just want to say I have been with him since before he was on the TUF cast...and all of you C.B. haters will of course jump on the wagon. Basically everyone is cheering for Amir in this one and I actually expect C.B. to get boo'd when he gets his name announced.

So if you are a C.B. fan post here and show your support before all the haters jump on the wagon like they do with every other fighter.

Lol no one will jump off Amir's wagon dude. He all ready beat CB PERIOD. He is wayyyyyyyyy more likeable, has a better attitude and has better sportmanship along with natural skills. that being said even if Amir loses no one will care because there will be a rubber match.

Unless C.B. absolutely destroys and tears him apart I dont see ANYONE jumping the bandwagon as Amir is filled with raw unhoned talent that when coupled with a good camp is going to make a major splash in the division while we see what C.B . is now and theres not much for him to improve in and his weaknesses are all ready being exposed.

That being said CB is a great fighter and I respect the dude but I dont see much of a future for him while even if Amir does lose I can see him bouncing back and going further than anyone can imagine.

I agree they both have a lot of potential and I didn't like Amir before the show, but when I saw his first fight (the one to qualify to get in the house) I really liked him and thought he was exciting.

But still, watch and see, many many people will jump on C.B.'s wagon once he wins.

Also, I credit C.B.'s loss partially to his conditioning at the time. Rampage didn't do as much conditioning as Forrest did. I am curious as to how the fighters developed in their off time though. Hopefully C.B. worked his ass off on conditioning and jiu jitsu.

Amir is some inexperienced muay tai fighter that dished out arm bars, triangles and brutal knock outs on TUF. Of course he'll get more fans. Not to mention he's humble, actually lacks confidence and has no cocky traits at all.

That said, I think with the necessary preparation and proper cardio CB will control the fight and get the decision.

Amir appears to have more raw talent considering how inexperienced he is, in a couple of years I think he could be something special. He just needs a good cap to go to.

I still really like Amir, and if he wins I won't be too upset because I like both of them. I just wanted to publicly state that I am a true C.B. fan, so when he wins on Saturday and all of the ban wagoners are jumping on, you guys know who was with him from his HD Net fights.

And if Amir wins, I will most likely sound really stupid. I got to agree with you guys though, Amir is probably more like-able than C.B. is.

I really don't think CB is that cocky of a fighter. Of course when you compare him to Amir, he looks like the cockiest fighter in the whole world. He just seems real confident to me, he doesn't seem to degrade his opponents, I've seen 100 times worse from other UFC fighters.

CB is a wrestler who when faced with a threatening fight, will take it down, bury his head in the guys chest, and grind out a UD.

Amir isn't anything yet, which means he does a bit of everything....and he's fun to watch.

No brainer who im rooting for.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I will never be on CB's bandwagon, win or lose the finale. Like everyone else is saying, he's got a crappy attitude and needs to be brought back down to earth. Getting armbarred by Amir should have taught him a little bit but he doesn't seem to be bothered by it.

As for Amir, in no way am I saying that he'll be a champ but he's a great guy to root for. He's kinda silly looking, a lot of the things he does in the octagon are sloppy, he is just different from the norm (reminds me of a goaltender). With that said, the guy doesn't know the meaning of the word quit and is extremely humble. He slugs, he works for subs, pretty much an all around exciting fighter to watch.

If I had to pick which bandwagon I would be on, I'd be on Amir's win or lose.

I know that a lot of people are on the fence about C.B., but let me plead my case here.

I don't like him, I never will. Unless of course he gets one of those brain tumors that can't be removed and because you have it in a certain part of the brain it completely changes your personality. You know, that kind of tumor.

He refers to himself in 3rd person and is WAY too cocky. Strike one.

He really doesn't mind a lay n pray fight. Strike two.

He has a squishy face. Strike three.

:dunno:

I'm not looking forward to 15 minutes of CB laying in Amirs gaurd. CB isn't a very likeable guy and his wrestling style makes him more unlikeable. Just because it's effective doesn't make it enjoyable to watch. I will never be a part of the CB bandwagon.

But he wasn't always humble and a nice guy. Every single UFC fighter is going to talk cocky about there opponent at one point or another. Amir is very humble, but if he's ever on a PPV, they are going to make him say how he's going to destroy, KO, punch their face in, etc...CB to me is no different than the vast majority of other UFC fighters.

#29 ·
Mmm, when wasn't he? Are you saying that because of the "I'm not impressed by your performance" for which he immediately apologized? And anyway, tell me about Fedor then, when has he been cocky or an ass? The closest thing I remember is when Mirko KOed his brother and he was swearing at the locker room :D.

#30 ·
It's my point that every fighter is going to be cocky at some point. I never mention Fedor specifically, but I guarantee you in one of his pre-fight interviews, he has to have made some pre-fight comment to sell PPV's and tickets. It's the job of these fighters to sell themselves. People want to see two fighters who have some sort of "beef" with each other. Amir is a great guy, but I guarantee is tone and attitude will change somewhat when he's on a PPV card.

C.B. is cocky but you know what that's fine.

I don't like his personality but anyone who ignores his potential is blind.

Also how is he a Lay and Prayer. Against Amir he spent a lot of the fight trying to pass Amir's guard and in fact cost him self a win by trying to finish the fight to quickly when he had Amir's back.

Against Tim Creduer on the ground he had no options. He's not going to pass Tim's guard and if he tries he will probably get submitted so he took him down and threw some elbows.

Actually, you have to admit that he stalled a ton against Tim when he gassed. The ref was stupid for not standing the fight back up when CB was just standing over Tim waiting for him to come up so he could sneak in a shot instead of letting Tim back.

He also took Tim down a number of times and just laid on him so he could rest a bit. I know he wanted to win badly and it was another chance so I don't hate him for doing whatever he could to win, but he clearly lnp in the Tim fight.

#35 ·
He didn't lay and pray watch old UFC fights for Lay and Pray.

CB did stall when Tim was on his back. But it was less of his choice and more of the fact that Tim was going for leg locks and being in his guard was bad for him. However he was also losing the stand up.

Also when he was in Tim's guard he was throwing some elbows and doing his best to inflict damage.

I was not saying that he was doing that for the entire fight, but I distinctly remember several points in the fight where he would just go for the TD and just laid on top of Tim.

For example, I think he did that near the end of the 2nd round. He just took down Tim and just laid there until the round was over. But yeah, he stalled a shitload when Tim was on his back and he was just standing over him.

#37 ·
Yes but that's not Lay and Pray that's what all fighters do. They take guys down and rest. BJJ guys do it not only when they are on top but when they have guys in their guards.
