Naw i have seen the last 3 seasons, but look at what happend. Yes their are good fights from there, but none of them seem to be doing anything... the only guy from that list that has had a chance at really anything is Ken Flo, the rest had there chance and didn't even make a good run for it... so grade C fighters aren't a good way to build a league.. but a great way to build a fan base

^^^^^
what he said

some of the most exciting fighters in UFC are from TUF. True not all of them have had compleely succesful careers but they've also faced some of the best in the business so who can blame them.

neither has rashad evans. with some more well rounded training the guy would be a monster.

mike swick hasn't lost since TUF either. he is in line for a title shot(i still think it's too fast, but atleast he is getting a shot).

chris leben is doing fine as well, his only loss since the season end came from Anderson silva, i don't think i need to explain that it isn't a huge deal to get beaten by silva, seeing as he is one of the best in the world.

stevenson is up there in the LW rankings of the ufc. forrest has been doing fine, still not championship material, but he is doing fine.

keith jardine is a decent fighter as well to come off the show.

koscheck is becoming a decent fighter.

kendall grove is a decent fighter, so is ed herman imo.

bisping appears to be a monster, although he hasn't really been tested yet.

there are some more that i missed probably...

but all of that being said, they again are only fighting level B fighers... most of the TUF fighers barley have any background in a figting style, again most of them are just wrestlers and can toss a puinch... i like Ken Flo :D hes smart.. where more of the TUF fighters aren't they just throw punches and dive at there oppent.. and ever time i watch the ulimate fighter it makes me laugh.. cuz i know i can fight better then most of thoes guy.. they only thing they really have on me is the power.. because i dont spend my life working out... lol.. but the TUF people .. some of them even have their HEAD back then they are punching.. they look like girls.. hahaha yes given with the amout of people you have see in tuf .. there are always bound for a few to stand out

naw the whole point of a fourm is to discuss people opinion, there just isn't a lot of talent in TUF, and it's a breeding ground for new UFC fighters.....

But as i said before anyone of the new fighters who won for tuf 4 is not supposed to fight Anderson Silva, who would WHOPE anyone of them in less then a minute...... so how is that a good place to get fighters? so ... i restate my question, is TUF a league?

lol now you are making me laugh even more man don't write something if you dont know anything....once again the fighters they select all have background in mma before they fight in smaller shows or champions of other organisations....Joe stevenson man used to be welterweight and lightweight champion of KIng of the Cage...but i guess you didn't know that. I used to train at team thompkins in London and Rob McDonald trains there also and he is a kick boxing champion...these no talent guys you are talking about have been around for years and if you think you have more talent then they do then your on crack bro.......like I said do your research before you post....and a little info for you most of them arent wrestler's lol they train BJJ and muay thai...you deserve a power stomp from Wanderlei for your opinions........hahahaha

please dont restate such a dumbass question. dude tuf is no league its a show put on by ufc to showcase some of their up and comming fighters and to give some dudes a chance to showcase their skills. and what are you talking about no background in fighting, all these guys are good fighters who have spent years working at mma, some more then others. but as fas as you beating anyone thats probably the biggest joke of all. and its not just power i can assure you. i mean danni abaddi who is probably one of the worst fighers ever on tuf would destroy you in less then 2 minutes i guarantee. you are a joke and this is probably one of the dumbest threads i've seen on this forum. go back to sherdog jackass!!!

tuf is like junior varsity ufc. if you do well you get a shot to move up. its a great idea. i always said if i ran zuffa i would have an amatuer ufc just to have a pool of up and coming fighters. thats basically what they did, bt they found away to also make alot of money with attract new sponsers and a whole new fan base.

Wow, thanks finally someone who ansered the actual question... im going to rep you for that...

You right it is a "feeder" to the UFC, so its a good way to build fighters, but not a great way to get a league going.....

i think the UFC has to go out and get some new explosive fighters, or join with all other leagues and make a huge league where all fighters can sign up and fight.

Are you guys really that mad at someones opinion?

Wow, i start a post say my mind about the inexperiance of the TUF fighters, and you all go off the handle.....

you do realize that not everyone will agree with you, HENCE A FOURM but GG all

but next time you guys start getting all worked up over a post, remember its only a post

why do you keep talking about a league?

The Ultimate Fighter is a reality TV show. the winners of the show gets a chance to fight in the UFC.

It wasn'y your post that got us all going, it was your comments about they pick guys with no backgrounds and that you could beat most of them. It's ok to ask questions man but just gets your facts straight before you defend yourself is all because some of the things you said were really stupid and a was te of your time.

He's trying to be all defensive and I agree why is he talking about a league.
The Ifl is a league because they have teams.TUF is all individual I hope that finally answers your question DAman.

Yes, but the only reason why i posted this is because someone else in a different theard said TUF was a league where great frighters are born, so i decided to see what people think.

lol, i said their really isn't that good of talent because there isn't it, all the TUF fighters have not won their title bout, so they aren't so great. Yes, Given some of them are undefeated, but the TUF fighters really only fight american fighters, so in the grand scheem of things, thoes fighters aren't THAT great..... decent, but great? I think not

Since you don't get it or seem to want to make excuses here.

FACTS:

TUF IS NOT A LEAGUE!

THERE ARE GOOD FIGHTERS THAT HAVE COME FROM TUF.
-Diego Sanchez: Just beat Karo Parysian in a very good fight, im not his biggest fan but hes a very scary fighter.
-Rashad Evans: Just KO'd Lambert HARD to, once he adds submissions and more ground agression to his fighting style he'll be that much better.
-Michael Bisping: Haven't been able to see what he can really do right now but we all know how well rounded he is and how much power and accuracy he has.

dude ugh the list goes on, just understand this.
TUF is not a league, good fighters have come from it. Yes TUF 4 is boring but its about its got a bunch of old fighters that have ALOT to loose and they choose there matches. When fighters choose there matches its going to lead to boring fights because they choose the guy they match up against the best.
