For example it pissed me off to see boring fights (machida's fights) or bad calls like hamill vs bisping..

The fact that there is always a bat-shit crazy judge that scores the fight in an inexplainable manner.
Tito 30-27 over Griffen :drink02: I mean seriously did he actually think Tito won round two, did he give Tito a byzantine 11-9 first round that only exists in a typo in some footnote somewhere? Or did he just have mud butt, missed the fight and guessed based on Griffen's face?

When they waste a good 10 minutes at the begining of each show to hype up the fights we will be seeing. We are already watching the show so hyping up a show we are watching is a big waste of time. If you cut this out and the other little time wasting segments throughout you can fit another prelim on the show.
I know. They already have my money, they can only convince me I made the right choice by putting on the fights, not talking.

when goldie keeps referencing cuts to being 'vitor/eastman'-like....when they aren't even close
Also when Joe talks about BJ putting his leg behind his head without using his hands. We know Joe, you're gay for him, just come outta the closet and declare your love. We'll all still respect you, we just want you to be yourself.

Seeing the Tapout guys for the first time and almost immediately throwing some stuff in my closet into the trash.

Knowing win or lose, Tito Ortiz will get more time on the microphone than the person he fought.

The introduction with the gladiator putting on his armor and sword. I understand the similarities but I don't feel it outweighs the differences.

When they waste the last 30+ minutes of the PPV recapturing the evening's events instead of simply showing the under card fights.

Honestly I'm happy with their production, especially when compared to Elite-XC or Affliction. I know they are the most experienced, but it really shows.

Thank you! I hate that damn intro...with all of the $$$, you'd think they would up the production value on that. At minimum, if they are going to have a "gladiator," he shouldn't be less muscular than 99% of the fighters.

The booing drives me crazy.

One thing I've noticed when watching the DVDs(I can't remember hearing this on the live broadcast) but in a lot of the aired fights there's one lady(close to the octagon) who screams her head off all the time. Mainly just a bunch of "YEAAAAAHHH YEAAAAHHH!!!!". I dunno if anyone has heard her but it's annoying as sh@t watching the DVDs.

Machida's fights are not that boring. I actually find Frankie Edgar and Sean Sherk to be more boring that Machida. He finished Sokoudjou and made a very good attempt to finish Tito.

Anyone who says Machida doesn't try to finish fights is just dumb.

Bisping/Hamill was not a good call. I agree.

Things that piss me off at UFC Events are

-Mike Goldberg

-People who boo after 30 seconds of inactivity.

-There is a guy that is always in the audience at Vegas shows that has a really obnoxious boo and a cracking voice. He can be heard shouting profanities after the Sobral vs. Heath fight. He's there all the time now because I can hear him.

This is probably it for me and people who complain about the ground game if you have a problem with it then don't watch MMA, watch a different sport!

guys that the ufc hypes up to have good striking and throws a 1-2 combination...and that only

when goldie keeps referencing cuts to being 'vitor/eastman'-like....when they aren't even close

fighters that walk in w/ metal music....

the ufc filling time w/ stupid interviews about upcoming fights or movie stars...

-Booing Fans because the fighters either: 1)Respect each other a lot, or 2) They are figuring each other out. or if they are on the ground grappling and nothing is happening. Japanese fans are way more respectful. ******* drunk ass Americans/Brits/Canadians lol

-When Mike Goldberg states the obvious like, "OH MY GOD, they are fighting in there!" or when he says what they are attempting, I ******* know what they are doing, I don't need a play by play on shit I already know.

That's pretty much it.

How long it takes for a fight to actually start: Preview videos, entrances, and introductions. It's the worst especially when the pre-fight shit lasts longer than the fight itself, but that's really not something they can control and the UFC is not the only company guilty of this.

Booing when there's a struggle on the ground to pass/defend the pass.

-inconsistent refereeing, and the lack of provided video replay footage for the referee in order to decide the outcomes of bizarre fight conclusions (Ex: Johnson/Burns fiasco)

Those are three off the top of my head. :dunno:

The only time that pisses me off is in the WEC because they have to have the ref bring them to the middle of the ring for every single fight! I can't remember if EliteXC does it but I think they might also.

David Spade.

Fighters whoring themselves out in post-fight interviews to every sponsor on the planet (Nick Diaz is by far the worst fighter in MMA for that, IMO). Although when Miletich fighters used to rep places like "Rick's Tire Barn" I found it hilarious.

Fighters who are convinced fans care about them. Paul Buentello anyone? "Don't fear me, fear the... (crickets)"

I pretty much agree with what everyone said in this thread besides one thing...

The pre hype before the fight starts. I like it, and I like it a lot. One of the main reasons is because I always bring at least 1-2 new people to my place when I rent the event because I like to change what people think of the UFC. During the "hyping" of the fights, the "new fans" can get to know the fighters a little bit and the back story behind the fight. It gets them pumped up for the fight and they seem to enjoy it more.

One thing I cant stand is not seeing the whole card when it costs me 45 bucks to rent an event. Then the UFC wants MORE money from me to watch the fight on UFC on demand... Oh please.

It should at the very least be a rule that if a prelim fight wins sub or KO of the night... AIR THE FIGHT!

The thing I cannot stand is when the fight heads to the ground and someone I'm sitting with or next too says the one thing ever true MMA fan hates hearing "Oh great here we go, on the ground man this f*cking boring, what a joke, stand up you guys look like pussies" Sometimes I can understand it does get boring, but just because you have no knowledge of what MMA is really about, and don't know BJJ or wrestling it just puts a damper on the fight.

Go watch boxing asshats.

All of the 'commercials' on the PPV's. I can understand some of it and I can deal with some of it, but constant movie previews and pimping out other stuff. We pay for the PPV; limit what turns out to be the equivalent of commercials on a free card.
