Hell yes, nice to see my dawg Kitaoka advance. Yuki Nakai blackbelt, bitches! Watch your legs, protect your neck, it's goin' down!
plazzman, was Gomi vs Pang watch worthy? I didn't see the event, as I just got home from work, so I'd like to know just how exactly was it. Nice to see Gomi win, as he's one of my favorites.
Wow, Mitsuoka beat Damm, not that I'm treating it as an upset or anything. But, him choking out Damm? DAYYYYUUUUMMMNNNN!!!! What the hell are they feeding Mitsuoka? Can Makoto Takimoto get some of it?
Schultz losing sort of surprised me.
Takimoto, man, I thought you could win this fight. How was this, exactly? Takimoto execute any swank judo throws?
I'd say it was definitely watch worthy, but it was very uncharacteristic of Gomi. He wasn't as vicious as he normally is, but then again, his opponent was tough, even though he ate alot of clean shots. Pang gassed in the middle, but Gomi didn't do much to try and finish. But still, it was a relatively good scrap.
As for the Mitsuoka/Damm fight, it was beautiful, they scrapped and Damm got caught flush, which dropped him, and Eiji moved in with the quickness for the choke.
The Kitaoka fight was awesome. Satori came in with the whole Nakai camp, and then some. And he was rockin the Aoki pants, and he sure as hell did him proud. Very smooth and quick fight.
Good win for Valentijn, also, that knee was something fierce, very Ninja-esque.
Good for you, I got up after six hours sleep to watch this but it's the middle of the day here. I've been sitting at my computer for four hours, the first hour spent watching shitty tko because WVR never started.
A great event which the rest of these fools missed out on.
Takimoto actually beat Trigg in the standup and looked pretty good there and executed one nice takedown. Trigg took him down and lay on him for three rounds.
Yeah, I actually dug Gomi vs Pang, as Gomi unleashed some nice leg-kicks and was more patient. Pang looked sort of lackluster, though. Seems like he just didn't really care that he was fighting Gomi.
Loved the leg-lock by Kitaoka and the crazy faces he was making afterwards. He'll win the GP.
I couldn't believe Schultz got KO'ed. He looked really gassed but that was a hard shot that got him.
The Gomi fight was ok but he didn't look as good as he has in the past.
