Goldberg said that he couldnt fit into Lesnars xxxxl gloves and had to get 5XLs for his hands. Imagine the beating that he could dish out with those bricks
yeah like i said in the couture vs lesnar thread, i think carwin already has the tools to be a better fighter than lesnar. his striking is way ahead and he has at least some sub knowledge. and the size difference would be negligible.
if you're breaking boards that would make a difference, but when you are talking about punching a person it doesn't help. a KO punch KO's because it shakes the brain and jars nerves. for that you want as much force as possible, how it is concentrated isn't important as long as it's a square punch.
The power of a punch is just like force. Force is the mass times the acceleration. If they are thrown from the same arm a much bigger fist will have much more force than a smaller fist.
Then don't go to Wikipedia. They work fast. I went there to check Carwin and they already had his record updated.
What I'm wondering was I thought they said Brock had the biggest gloves in the UFC but Carwin has fought in the UFC before. Did they not actually say he had the biggest gloves or just not notice Carwin?

I changed the title a bit, It might have caused a bit of confusion with the fight result but it should be fine now.
