Who I really hate...

I’ve noticed that I feel this huge amount of hate for certain fighters and I can’t help but badmouth and trash talk them. For instance Matt Hughes has always been a fighter who I can never resist putting in my two cents worth of negativity about, same with Tito Ortiz...actually I enjoy bashing the entire UFC organization and I think I've finally realized why. It's not the fighters, or Dana White or the UFC...it's the fans. I can’t tolerate the stupidity of fans who think Matt Hughes is indestructible or that Tito Ortiz's macho immature antics and bravado makes him a "great fighter" in spite of his lack luster performances. And I the average UFC fan who actually believes that these fighters are the end all be all in MMA...and they'll argue to the death about it.

I could go on and on listing reason after reason but basically what it boils down to is that I hate all of you.

Anyone else ever feel this way?

About tito ur so right he is a the typical americain badd ass guy that every one love. I think he just stupid as hell Look is reccord 15 - 4 won 3 time vs shamrock 1 time vs coter im not really amaze by his victory he got a Decision vs Wandy but every one know Wandy could murder him any time now. Every time he fought a hard oppenent he lost so ill say loud and clear he is overrated in the americain eye. The pool of fighter of ufc was never tought enough to say to any champion he was the greatest of all time in the world that bs cuz when i watch meca event pride or even vale tudo I see way better fighter

MMA is a competitive sport, fans watch and they root for one side or the other. They choose who they root for based on various reasons, skill, attitude, where they are from, etc. Most of the people that care enough to talk about MMA on the internet put "skill" as the main factor of who they like. So if someone else says they like a fighter, someone else will say, "Bullshit, you are stupid for liking that fighter he doesn't have much skill." "The stupidity of the fans" should not be the reason not to like the UFC. You are a fan. You are just a fan, and only a fan. It's great you like the good fighters with alot of skill, that is easy to do. I could point to Chuck Lidells record, his dominance, and I can find someone that says they think Tito can win and I can call them stupid. But they arent, they are fans just like you and me. As a matter of fact, I think Tito can win, I am a fan and I hope he does. This thread is a shining testament of something that is just as annoying as "stupid" fans, that is pretentious uberfans. People can root for whoever they want to and you aren't better for pointing out that they aren't rooting for the person with the most skill.

Tito, Hughes, and Sherk are all boring one dimensional fighters. If they cant take you down and lay and gay you, they loose.

I am just sick of shitty ground games. If you are going to be on top in MMA, either do some serious damage with ground and pound or stand up and fight some more. Do not lay on top a la Tito Ortiz to gay your way to victory. Matt Serra is another classic lay and gay champion.

So we have half of the active UFC fighters being lame ass wrestlers who cant strike.

Strikers are taking their place as champions again thank God. For awhile there, we have been seeing wrestlers just take down everyone and sit on top. Now that the strikers know how to stuff take downs...the wrestlers look 2nd class at best. Anderson Silva, GSP, and Liddell have long championship runs unless we see some competition join the ranks of the UFC. The talent is weak and thin.

Only people of merit in the UFC

HW - Tim Sylvia (not really)
Andre Arlovski (If he would let it all hang out)
Aleksander E (If he comes to the UFC)
Brandon Vera (Still new)

LHW - Chuck Liddell
Tito Ortiz (sucks ass)(Got creamed by champ)
Forrest Griffin (Won the fight against Ortiz)

MW - Anderson Silva
Rich "Deuce" Franklin (Got Creamed by champ)
Mike Swick (Will get creamed by champ)
Chris Leben (Got creamed by champ)
Michael McDonald (Hopefully will beat leben)

WW - GSP
BJ Penn
Matt Hughes
Diego Sanchez
Nick Diaz
****ing joke Serra

LW - Ken Flo (Lost to champ)
Sean Sherk (blows)

Seems a little weak to me. Almost every match is completly predictable...because its one sided.

Look at the next 2 champion ship matches for WW and MW
Those 2 matches are a joke. The Tuf 4 people are jokes...the winners of the losers...

Liddell is going to own Ortiz in December.

If there is a rematch with hughes vs penn - hughes will loose for sure

if there is a rematch with hughes and gsp - hughes will loose again for sure

They need to get some fresh blood with experience and talent...not just reality show people. Dont get me wrong, Forrest Griffin is a decent fighter...he did pretty much beat Ortiz...but Ortiz sucks too...

When it comes down to it...

UFC and Pride should just join together...and keep Pride rules in the Cage! Perfect Solution.

1 belt per weight class

and open weight tournaments for people who want to win other types of events and gain number 1 contender status.

I agree with you about the Griffin vs. Ortiz fight, Ortiz only really did something major in the first round with the GNP attempt creating a cut above Griffins eye. Forrest obviously won the second round, the third round was close and Griffin was doing great avoiding the takedowns and only one succeeded but Ortiz didnt really do anything great, Griffin even managed to stand back up continuing the fight, if they had a 4th round i can almost guarentee Griffin would have defeated Ortiz, maybe even 1 more minute. It was like he knew Ortiz' whole game plan and could avoid it from then on. Oh well though..and yeah, it would be cool seeing UFC and Pride combine together, as long as its still accessable for me. ;)

Nothing against this thought because I tend to agree, but we can't sit here and b*tch about their style. It's an aspect of MMA. One that I can appreciate, but will only tolerate when there is actual movement. All it takes is the proper opponent to expose them and it's been happening :)

I agree with Bungholes analysis of Tito Ortiz. He has a 'badass' name, and 'badass' attitude, and 'badass' looks...but he sucks. Griffin DID beat him, I don't know how anyone can argue that. Actually I would moreless say it should have been ruled a draw. I had it like this.

Rd1: 10-8 Ortiz
Rd2: 10-9 Griffin
Rd3: 10-9 Griffin

It seriously was either a draw or Griffin won...because the first round could be argued between 10-9 and 10-8, but there is no mistake that Griffin won the last 2 rounds. No mistake at all. Tito took him down one measly time in the last 10 minutes and didn't do jack shit but take a breather. I know he was injured or something, but it doesn't matter, he still lost the fight. Or drew, either way HE DID NOT WIN THAT FIGHT!

I don't hate anyone in paticular on this site. I just hate the stupid MMA fan. I mean okay I get it, you like a fighter. But don't just go around saying he can beat someone else without any sort of reasoning behind it. For ****s sake people, try to sound the least bit educated when you post.

it shows pure ignorance to say you hate UFC fans. Granted the majority of people in America know nothing about fighting. They like Tito cause he talks Sh*t and he's usually exciting. But the true hard core fans know who can fight and they realize that Tito sucks.

I think it all has to do with the evolution of MMA. In the beginig it wasn't that popular and there wasn't much talent in the sport. Guys like Tito and Hughes thrived. They could take these inexperienced brawlers, slam um on the ground, and beat on them.

Now something amazing is happening. True fighters are surfacing to stuff these guys shots or submit them when they try to ground and pound. MMA is becoming a true sport instead of just a spectacle.

Im too lazy to argue with you but let me say your one of the most obnoxious, ignorant, and annoying people on this site and I think you say stupid things and I cant stand you along with Bungle. But, anyway read my thread on how GnP is part of the sport.

http://www.mmaforum.com/mmaforum-general-discussion/5547-ground-pound-part-sport.html

That being said I do agree to an extent I do agree with the Tito comment. I dislike how arrogant fans are and think hes the best and think hes better than what he is just because of who he is. I do however think he deserves alot more respect than you give him.
