Here is what I do....to lose weight quickly....fruit and cottage cheese and working out hard. I have lost 70 lbs on this equation.....PM me if you have more questions or want to know how I know this is healthy, eh.
Yeah it was, but come on. Water post workout? Protein shakes, gatorade, choclate milk......it also has a lot to do with what you are doing in this "workout" but water isn't going to help you recover.
As for a bannana two hours before working out, if thats all you can handle thats fine, but more substantial than a bannana is pretty much self explanatory.
Alright. I mean, I agree with you entirely. I try and nab a power bar an hour or so before training if I haven't had much to eat that day. It may not be the best, but it does the job.
And you're right. it does depend on your goal after training. Bulking up would require protein, obviously. rehydrating would be gatorade like you said.
I'd like to know what the best thing is to eat after training in order to help your muscles recover.
