I've wrestled for 8 years and done jujitsu for a year. I think if I had a solid 3 months to train for a fight I'd do alright.

do you train at a gym? if u do then talk to the guys there and they will k now about some amateur shows around there. Im from WA state and there is a gym at around my area that actually puts on amateur shows so there might be something like that around you.

your trainer should be able to get you into fights. Finding the fight shouldnt be your worries training for it should be.

I would concur with that. Concentrate on finding a good gym, one where you can actually verify the credentials of the trainers. The amount of good trainers is a very small group in the Martial Arts community in general, and they stay pretty tight knit and well connected. If you're interested in fighting, your trainer should know how to get you into shows.

Good luck.

It doesn't matter if you agree or disagree... As long as I don't bore you and I spark a moment of thought, my goal is achieved.
