I recently talked to the owner of my gym. He said that if he doens;t double members (FUNDS) that he will go under. The problem is in that he can't figure out how. He charges very little ($40) a month, especially compared to other gyms. He doesn't run a shit hole either. Can anyone give me tips to give to him on how to recruit?

well where is the gym? look for ppl online, friends? or on forums? depending on where the gym is i might join.

advertise. My dojo was in town for 5 months before i knew it was, because of poor advertising. the owner should offer one free class to those interested. that way they'll tryit with no strings attached. he might want to talk to a local paper and do a story. talk him into doing a one night a week free self defense class for women. (single mom's will see that it's good to have and will enroll kids into classes) any good PR will help in the gym growing.

Get some ads out, pass out flyers. Maybe give people a 1 day free pass to come and check out the gym.
