TapouT

"TapouT" follows Mask, Punkass, and SkysKrape, the men behind one of the premier clothing and gear companies in the Mixed Martial Arts world. They are constantly on the lookout for up and coming fighters to sponsor and wear their clothes. During each episode we follow the TapouT crew as they travel across the country in a tricked out tour bus in search of the next MMA superstar. Once they find a fighter that has the kind of heart and determination they're looking for, they sign him up and take him to his next fight. Along the way, they bond with that fighter and make sure he receives the best training at some of the top MMA training centers in the country. Each episode ends at a MMA event, with the new TapouT fighter showing his competitive skills inside the cage and the TapouT crew cheering him on.

Here is your official thread, to discuss each episode.

TapouT

I watched the first 3 "pilot" episodes and they were pretty good. They had 3 decent fighters. 2 were basically still in the local shows and 1 fighter...who lives and trains with Liddell at "THE PIT" lost his fight by a flash knockout in the WEC. All in all I was stoked each night it was on.....then again, anything to do with MMA gets me stoked!

Does Anyone Watch Tapout?

There's a discussion going on at Sherdog and the feelings are mixed. For those of you who don't watch it, three guys, Mask, Skyscrape, and Punkass, go around sponsoring new fighters with Tapout clothing and visiting their current sponsors (BJ Penn, Matt Hughes, and others). They watch the fighers train and support them for their fights in underground fight organizations, some in the WEC.

Honestly, I think the hosts are kind of annoying. I'm not trying to hate because I know they get to act like tards but probably make substantially more money than I do, but they couldn't have hired some guys that are witty and have a sense of humor? Mask walks around with a stupid hat on and halloween paint on his face, Skyscrape is a 7ft. tall guy that wears a new wig and sunglasses for each episode, and punkass probably keeps a constant high throughout the epidsode and hides behind his big sunglasses. Oh, and he has Tapout tattooed on the back of his neck.

I do appreciate the insight we get on fighter's training and hell, we get to watch a fight at the end of each episode (helpful during this UFC drought) but I think these guys are douchebags. I think Mask might be the president of Tapout so I guess his spot is secured, but I'm not sure how much more yelling (Matt Huuuuughes, Matt Huuuuuughes, BeJaaaaaay, BeJaaaaaaaaay) I can take. This stuff makes me appreciate Joe Rogan a little more.

k i'm done.

Does a fighting organization that is broadcast on TV actually warrant you calling it 'Underground' ?
