Begining MMA Training
Me and my brother are begining our MMA training. I've love martial arts ever since I was 5 and watched chinese kung fu movies with my dad. As I got older I got more into fighting sports, Boxing, Kickboxing, MMA. Me and my brother are learning at a local MMA gym, taking Muay Thai and Jujitsu, and even some boxing training. I'd also like to take a little Aikido.
So far my strength is in grappling but I dont want to make that the only way I can win a match. So I want to eliminate any weakness I have
I believe a great blend of martial arts would be Muay Thai for striking. Aikido for turning an opponents attack into a lock, Jujitsu for grappling, Boxing for evasion, and I'd like to study Bruce Lee's philosophy of Jeet Kune do.
I'd like to hear what other people think of this, any advice and so forth.
