No fight
So I went to fight in my second amateur fight last weekend, at the weigh-ins the guy I was set up with mumbled something about having a title fight in a month and left the friggin building! I weighed in at 147.5 he weighed in at 146.5 (with some clothing still on prolly about 5 lbs of it), he was supposed to be fighting at 145 with me at 150, but we were the closest match for the evening. I was sitting there thinking what a wussy move it was, and they told me they had found a second guy, but he backed out too!!!???
Anyone had a similar experience? Man I thought these were cage fighters. My first and only fight the other guy outweighed me by 10 lbs. I guess that is why they are amateurs....
