Justin Eilers Fights The Nightmare This Saturday

Check out the link below for the news.......

Kind of sad this fight is getting hardly any attention-should be a great slug fest! I'd like to see both guys get another shot in the UFC...they may not be top fighters, but they are great entertainers...

Eiler's is gonna lose... again. I was highly unimpressed by his victory over Matt Thompson last year and he hasn't beaten a quality opponent in quite some time (losses to Rizzo, Vera, and Arlovski). I don't know much about Shipp other than what I can find on his Sherdog page... but neither are really "quality" heavyweights.

I really enjoy watching Eilers fight, especially when he loses. It's not that I don't like him, it's that Justin looks great when he loses, he really knows how to make it look good.

He has looked pretty good since his stint in the UFC, 9/10 fights isn't bad at all, even if most of them were cans. I'm hoping Eilers keeps winning until Dana calls him back, The HW division is thin and Eilers if anything would add some depth.

Exactly...there's just something about that "charming" look he gets on his face as he is passing into the realm of unconciousness. He can throw bombs, but it would be even better to see him back in the UFC eating them again. If nothing else, the UFC should realize that he'd make a great opponent for Cro Cop for his first fight back...

It's funny you say that, because I thought the same exact thing when CroCop first signed with the UFC. CroCop/Eilers has highlight reel KO written all over it, would have been a great way to introduce Mirko to the fans. Unlike Sanchez Eilers wouldn't run away, dude would stand and bang until the inevitable LHK put him to sleep.

I would like to see Eilers vs Kimbo, I think Eilers would tool Kimbo, which would be great. If Kimbo managed to KO Eilers, well, that would be great too. Thats a win/win fight for the fans.

Thumper75 has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Eilers has been at our Gym for the last couple of months. I have sparred with him (light), the boy can hit.
To be honest I haven't seen any of his fights, but am looking forward to seeing it this weekend. Our gym owner and head coach is also fighting in the same venue- Brandon Shuey.
Two very good fighters with respectful attitudes, good work ethics also.
Props to both and good luck!

Both won their fights, Brandon by arm bar in the 1st, Justin by KO in the 4th.
