There is a pretty inconsistent stand up program here so its not really MMA, but if you are looking for strictly jiu-jitsu, Carlson Gracie's school (Stephan Bonnar and Miguel Torres used to train here) in downtown Chicago. Carlson actually teaches the class too. It's not just certified by a real Gracie, it is taught by a real Gracie.

1) Is that a legit MMA school? Do they help promote the fighters? etc, etc. They dont have any classes for basic, BJJ, Boxing, etc? Can you give me some more input?
Victory Martial Arts Academy is legit. If you check out the blog link, they have videos have the amateur fights that students of the academy take part in. It's an MMA academy so you learn a about everything. Private Lessons are available if you would like to focus on a certain aspects of combat. Check it out. Stop by at one of the academy locations and someone will be happy to answer all your questions.

If you fight for the Academy, they will promote you.

Well I think I would go to the franklin park location. My goal

To advance in belt rankings for BJJ while practicing stand up striking skills.

Any suggestions? Team Curran is too far. and Xtreme Coutoure in lombard seemed ghetto
