I know I have mentioned this as a sub topic in a previous posts. But figure with an actual headline I will get more responses.

For the guys familiar with Chicago. (w.burbs) Do you know of any decent gyms that you can progress with BJJ (obtain belts) while practicing your stand up (MMA) techniques?

Try extreme coutour located in lombard. About 40 mins from chicago depending on where u live.

Also you can probably search out stephan bonner's team or arlovski's team if they do public lessons. Those 2 im not sure off too well.

Sorry man i dont. I had to stop training a few years back due to work restrains. I would love to check that place out some day. Not to mention a possibility to meet and train with randy, thats would be sweet. But before making decisions however do check out the site and prices. As far as the belt placements, i'd call the gym and ask.

For BJJ, check out http://www.graciebarracountryside.com/index.html. I don't have any personal experience at this school, but its a Grace Barra academy the name sells it self.

If you are looking for BJJ and MMA, I recommend Victory Martial Arts Academy. They have 2 location: Forest Park, IL and Orland Park, IL.

I have been training there since July '08 and I have never looked back. The classes are very structured. 1 hour of stand up and 1 hour of grappling training and heart pumping condition embedded throughout the class. It's the best 2 hours of my day.

Thank you for your input and taking the time to do all that.

1) Is that a legit MMA school? Do they help promote the fighters? etc, etc. They dont have any classes for basic, BJJ, Boxing, etc? Can you give me some more input?
