If none know who this kid is better check him out soon, I got a chance to train with him at Team Thompkins in london for a while and was a good friend.
This kid has a bright future in mma and at only 19 he holds an impressive 7-0 record. He currently fights in the IFL for the Annacondas. If you have heard of him let me know, if not check the link above.
I caught him on an IFC event re-run last night up against Erik Owings.
Chris went at the guy the entire fight, constantly stalking him until he finally knocked him down in the very last second of the first round with a kick to the face. The kid is like a bolt of energy. Awesome, awesome stuff.
I'm definitely keeping my ear to the ground regarding Chris Horodecki.
He looked good when I saw him on TV, but he's not a powerhouse in a big organization. He really does look like the best lightweight in the IFL, but I wouldn't give him that yet.
He's training with Bas, so I expect good things from him in the future, and he is young. Still, a long way to go before we can really call him a "powerhouse."
Not a powerhouse, but the potential is definitely there.
The kid is so young he still has baby fat everywhere lol. You don't think much by just looking at him but he has desire in his steps. Can't wait to see more.

Yeah he's a stud. Only 18 (started MMA when he was 16).Trains out of London, Ontario-Canada with Shawn Tompkins along with Sam Stout and Mark Hominick. I think as he matures he may have to move up to 170.

I agre he will be a power house but im not sure at what weight I read an article on sam stout and he said that chriss will most likely move up in weight as he matures. ASnyway I live in St. thomas ontario right beside London and I had a chance to go down to Tompkins and ask Chriss a couple of questions about the gym. There gym is filled with talent from stout, hominick, horodecki, rob mcdonald(ultimate fighter season two) and the heavy weight on bas ruttens anacondas krzytof sozynyski. Im getting my fang tooth pulled tomorow so I can fit my mouthgaurd on lol and then Im joining the gym inm a couple of weeks. I cant wait to get beat up by these guys lol ill have no choice but to get better.

I found descriptions of two of his fights, so I thought I'd share.
Horodecki vs Shultz
"Good back-and-forth first round. After Horodecki got in a few combinations early, Schultz got a takedown, went back to his feet and landed five knees to the top of the head while holding a front headlock. Horodecki was smart enough to pick his spots standing, and didnt connect with anything major. Schultz won the first round, but it didn't matter. Horodecki marched right out in round two and immediately knocked Schultz silly with a right roundhouse kick. After a combo and a knee, Schultz looked dazed, and referee Yves Levine waved it off at :24 of round two. Horodecki wins."
Horodecki vs Owings
"Kentucky Lightnin' Owings overwhelmed Tiger Shark Justin Jones with a rapid fire submission, which was over before the fans first sip of a beer. This time, Owings was tested by the new kid in town, who utilized the clinch and worked the legs with dangerous knees. This fight was amazing because every time Owings came forward for a takedown or was about to seemingly out strike the young man, the eighteen year old reacted with a spark giving back everything he took. As they traded at a furiously fast pace, Horodecki refused to go to the ground as Owings twice attempted this strategy. Almost in synthesis with the bell, Horodecki lands a big right straight, followed by a right high kick which sent Owings face forward, followed by another right kick to the face as he "intelligently fell."(New Christian term for gravity)" Horodecki wins.
I found an entire IFL event (sadly not the one with Horodecki), but the intro to IFL has him in it. I uploaded the intro for your viewing pleasure (and for those of you who haven't seen him at all). The clip of Horodecki is at the "Kickboxing" section of the intro in his fight vs. Owings.
Enjoy! (*EDIT* I took it down now. If you want to see just pm me)
