Toronto's best MMA Training: Revolution or Toronto BJJ ?

I got to tell you, after all the comments and the websites i visited to find a MMA gym in Toronto, i finally found 2 places that sound great.

BUT! What's a great place without good training? Some of you guys must be training in one of those 2 gyms so i'm waiting your comments again!

The sad part of all the others gyms, was some haven't any bags, and the instructor looked great but they was too many guys in a small place...

Here what those 2 got: an octogone, bags, great instructors, some spaaaace for sparring well.

Now...which one should you choose?
Thanks pals!

Both Gyms should be alright. I went to Toronto BJJ when they used to be around Woodbridge area.
Mostly did boxing, some BJJ and a bit of MMA. Judging by website the only striking trainer they got is Dida - i kind of doubt that he participates much.

EDIT: they do have other MT trainer.

Revolution I've read article about, should be professional but needs to be checked out.

Those gyms are in different parts of the city though...

Also check this one out http://www.victoryfightclub.ca/ It's new, lot of space - didn't hear anything great about them but it's up to you to check it out.

Xtreme Couture should be not bad as well...

What do you want to train mostly though?

I'm only looking for MMA classes, i've been doing this for 2 years and as a Bantamweight "fighter" i guess they won't be much in my category there but i'd love to start competition training in a few months.
I think i'm gonna go to the Toronto BJJ, the facilities are great (not THAT big, which is reflected by the price/month. Revolution is too big to be cheap). And i saw some classes in video from Revolution, most of the time they don't really do sparring...
Besides TBJJ is in a perfect place for me.
AND they had their brazilian instructor's come back this year,Mauricio Veio, so it could be fun!
They offer 2 days trial in case...! Can't wait to go there!

Thumbs up

I suggest Renegade Muay Thai Kickboxing Fitness. They are affiliated with Killer Bees gym (Anderson Silva's gym). His BJJ instructor Alexandre Penao is coming on April 10th for a seminar. He will stay here for 2 months. He is a 6th degree black from Carlson Gracie. http://www.renegademtk.com/team.htm
The muay thai intructor is a black belt and is a pro mma fighter too. The team is very strong and they have a lot of different classes with different focuses. I am waiting for the MMA program to start - it will be awesome!!! They don't have a cage but they have brand new equipment and a ring. I strongly recommend Renegade.

Renegade or Toronto BJJ

I saw Renegade's programm on their website and that's a MESS! You have to start with beginner for at least 4 o 6 classes, and reach a X level that allow you to get to an intermediate class...

I'm here to learn and to spare with beginner and advanced partner, not to reach level and lost X weeks in prooving what i'm capable of!

I definitely choose Toronto BJJ. Good schedules, even in the early morning!

Well, if you have knowledge you can move up to higher level classes, you take a test and prove that you are good enough to join the team!

You should check out Kombat Arts in Mississauga, it's a bit more expensive than other gyms but you get what you pay for.

I go to Toronto BJJ, Their are a few good Muay Thai instructors there. Dida's brother (Shogun Rua's corner man) is the main teacher. Our BJJ class is amazing. Jorge Britto is the BJJ instuctor.

Rev MMA is best Toronto facility

Toronto's best MMA training can be found at Rev MMA. We have the only former UFC Champion in Canada teaching MMA classes: Carlos "The Ronin" Newton. In addition K-1 legend Michael "The Black Sniper" MacDonald is teaching kickboxing classes as well as Shooto Star Joel Gerson who owns it and teaches at both locations as well.

The Toronto facility is widely considered the nicest in the city. Anyone interested in classes should go here:www.revmma.com
