Hell no you're not too old. I started training at 42 after 15 years of sitting on my ass. After just over a year I've ramped up if anything. I currently train 4 or 5 days a week averaging 2 hours a day. I do this without any desire to compete. Just want to learn.

Just be ready for about 3-4 weeks of pain until your body gets used to the workouts. It will suck. Go slow at first. Your body will adapt if you let it.
