Aviver, which one are you talking about?

Panic, Yea I pretty much manage for him now, trying to get him better opponets. He'll be uploading new ones soon, and both fights were really good.

backyard MMA fights are stupid and dangerous, if your friend wants to fight contact a promoter and get a real fight. this is how people get hurt/killed and the media will turn it into "backyard fight clubs" and "we saw this on UFC" and all that shit... not what the sport needs..

^Agreed^ The kid was swinging way too wildly, all it takes is that one 'oops' to the throat and someone is seriously hurt - then comes the inevitable media draw on the ufc dvds in the kid's bedroom. Seriously, how hard is it to google 'mma events' in your area and sign up for a fight card? It takes ten minutes and you'll be fighting real competitors in a regulated fight.

Eh, Well we live in Kansas. Not to much MMA going on here really, and we're 17. I'd love to fight actually, same with this kid. If you could help me out in finding events here, then hell that'll be sick.

Sorry for the... disappointment I guess, If someone was extremely hurt, I doubt we'll put up the video.

best way to find fights is find a local gym, if they arn't a McDojo and have guys that actually fight they will know local promoters who are looking for amature/pro fighters.

also the whole point of my rant isn't about you posting your fightclub videos online, plenty of people do it all the time... its the point that if someone does get extremely hurt it could bring negetive media towards MMA and in states like Massachuesetts where we are pushing to get MMA sanctioned by the atheltic commision a negative news story where some kids who watched UFC and thought they could do it fight and one gets seriously injured could cause the awful liberal goverment here to stop the bill in its tracks....

Yeah I 2nd grizzlybear on that. This isn't mma it's just a brawl. Find a good gym get him trained properly. The lad has no guard and leaves his chin open to get knocked out by someone who knows what they are doing.

hashashin 09-27-2009 03:21 PM

he is not an mma fighter , sorry but all his opponents look like *****s lol, they turn around and run backwards, any1 with a bit of skill would know not to do that and on the floor ; they dont know what they are doing.
i aint calling him shit but he needs to fight som1 half good if he wants credit
