Sparring Videos...

Here are a few videos of me and my brother sparring last night..

I'm the one in the white top and sprawl shorts, my brother is the one in the singlet.

Both weigh around 92-4kg... I've been training for the greater part of this year, and my brother for about 3-4 months... This is a boxing only sparring session.. i'll make sure to take some kboxing/BJJ sessions too.

General comments on form/technique etc but no stupid statements... i've been lurking for a while so im not some CharlieZ mother****er :P

Keep your hands up more, When you throw your jab make sure it goes straight out, when your getting attacked don't just put your guard up and stick in the same spot, you don't do it all the time but if you do make sure you slip the punches or one might get past the gloves. If your being attacked sometimes you just move straight back, try to circle off and footwork.

The guy with red gloves is leaning back too much and loses balance when the white gloves guy attacks.

Also if you are going to do MMA later don't lower your head forward when getting hit, at least not so much. It might work in boxing but doing that usually results in a powerful(jump)knee or a high kick coming towards your head.

Guy in red gloves exposes his chin in attack and defence. He should keep his chin tucked down. He can change this by shadow boxing with a tennis ball resting in his neck. This will teach him this techniques. He is also off balance when throwing punches and his jab is weak at best. When not throwing punches his guard is shocking.

Guy in white top As previous post mentioned in MMA never bend in that much. Also when you throw punches bring it straight back to your chin for your protection. Also when he is on top of you throwing combos count them when you get the timing explode out with a combo yourself. Alternatively you could T out and use the angle to setup an attack. I can't stress enough not to bend down from shots. In the second video 3.33 in you do it and if I were fighting you I would have dropped you easily with kick.

Keep going tho. If you train and listen to the experienced people in your gym you will get better. Good luck
