Okay, I thought I explained this in here but maybe I havent. Exhibition match is half/full contact, if a knockout punch were to be landed you pull it and someone stops the fight (we have someone refing it, yes). There's take downs and submissions allowed. We go 5 5minute rounds or until someone stops it (like if someone gets mounted and pounded on [keep in mind we DONT actually wail on people, its half contact], KO punch or a sub is sunk in) and it's most definately not play fighting. I train under the mentality that to be in a war you must train in a war, and it's as simple as that. I've trained at gyms around this area and so far I've liked none of them. The way we spar we incorperate everything that's going on in an MMA match. The way I've seen the other gyms do it, it's either striking or grappling, not both, so I prefer to train on my own most of the time. I will go to a gym for conditioning and stuff though or just to size people up.
So basically you have no technique because that is what gyms teach you. Sign me up to fight you. You not being coached has to be one of the silliest things you could do. I train under K-1's Duke Rofus for Mauy Thai and UFC's Eric Shafer for BJJ! I would never even thought twice to try this shit on my own bro. Where do you live?

It sounds like some kids wrestling in the back yard. In my opinion that is not a match. You want real competition go do a real Submission Tourney. You will go up against real competitors who know BJJ. By the way guys did the Pancrase in CO on the 15th. Won my first two matches then lost the third on points. My first tourney. I really hate single elimination.

Jesus guys, he said exhibition. That means for practice and for fun. He trains and has a real fight coming up. If you are trained there is nothing too wrong about rolling around in your backyard for fun, I do all the time no big deal it is just something to do with friends. He said that they were going half contact so no one got hurt. People just seem to want to assume that people are idiots and dont know what they are doing.
