Dude, you looked pretty good!

For the first fight....

The main problem I saw was when he was trying to pass you let him stand up, which put him in a great position to nail you from the top, maybe next someone is standing over you like that, grab both of his ankles with your hands and sweep him backwards by pushing with your legs (I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head I will check it out later and get back to you)

Every time someone postures up like that then stands I try to grab the ankles and sweep, when they fall if you are fast enough you can keep the leg under you pinned and end up in half guard.

Anyway enough of the jumbled explanations I will remember the name of it and give you a link.

It's called a double ankle grab sweep, look it up a very handy sweep, The instructional says you can end up in mount But I only ever manage to get into half guard...

Maybe spend some more time fine tuning kicks as well, that was the reason you got taken down, maybe even avoid using them altogether until you can snap back into stance properly.

I also just read that you are running on instinct. You should really join a BJJ gym at least, or find a training partner and watch a bunch of videos. Trust me it will be worth it in the long run.

Cheers dude.
