hey guys well im knew to this forum still and i was going to ask when you enter a amatuer fight or sign up what does it mean the fighter that sells the most tickets gets to fight how does that work thanks alot

For starters, what organization is the amateur fight with and is it a reputable one? If it is a legit fight in a legit organization, then their matchmakers will scout and assign the fights as they see fit. If it's illegal underground, then it's pretty much whoever is willing to fight gets to fight. Regardless, how many tickets a particular fighter gets sold doesn't really come into play until you are either being considered for a televised amateur event or are professional, where popularity plays a big part into what cards and what fights you get into.

No, If you are fighting as an amateur what usually happens is you or your trainer contacts the promoter they find someone for you to fight at an agreed weight. Now this is what we do here in Mass. The promoter will give us tickets to sell where we get a cut of the money depending on how many we sell, I usually get 15% or $6.75 a ticket for a $45 ticket. I don't know if its like that anywhere else but thats how they do it here, once they get you a fight you are fighting, unless the other guy pulls out and they can't find someone to replace him.
