quick question?

i just turned 19 and am wanting to make it in mma fighting. ive followed ufc and mma now for the past 5 years and am deciding that i want to pursue at it as a career. the only question i come to is am i to old to train for that. i mean i know im not that old but people are starting when they are little kids and train for that. i have a little wrestling under my belt and a few street fights. i just want to know if i started to late or could i still have a chance?

You have a amazing chance. Go for it. 19 is a prime age.

Thanks =D. i come to the conclusion today that i am gonna go for it. i lost my job a few weeks back and plan to use all my time off to train and go to school. but the question i come to now is should i only stick with learning one background(i.e boxing, kickboxing, grappling) or should i start learning multiple ones right away?

A good way to start is by putting in hours in your ground game, which is one difficult art to master.

You should lean towards everything if you want to be a MMA fighter.

If you want to start training in MMA 19 is the right time. It would benefit you if you had some kind've training right before that but if you need to start from scratch that is the time. You have a better chance than a 30 year old.

Nope, perfect age to start.

Strong wrestling and good cardio, good luck

Yeah, this is the time to start working on everything. At 19 with no experience you should work on everything before actually starting to fight. Either that or get amateur fights in first.
