I'm thinking of starting MMA

Hey everyone. I have been thinking of starting MMA for a while now. I'm 14, 5"7 (or so), and around 125 lbs. But my question is how much time/effort would I have to put in to go pro? I have a good bit of time on my hands in the spring but I do football in the fall and wrestling in the winter (I have 2 years of wrestling experince). So how much time do you think I would have to put in to MMA to go pro. I know I probably sound very naive but I would just like some advice.

Great choice going gold right away.

To answer your question. If I were you I would worry about training and becoming a well rounded fighter before even thinking about going pro. MMA fighters these days are a totally new breed of fighters. Your only 14 and you can fall into that category if you really devote yourself to the sport. Make sure you have your BJJ and a solid stand up decipline to compliment your wrestling.

Thats just what I would do.
