Thanks Halfraq9!
Surprisingly, my stand up game isn't all that bad in training camp. But I seem to have a black-out when I come into the ring. I'm familiar with ground techniques because I've trained Judo for over 8 years, so those techniques come naturally.
The turning away from leg kicks is due to the knee injury I mentioned earlier. It became worse that fight, injuring my knee cap. I think it happened when checking one of those kicks.
I know I need to land some jabs to set thing up but I'm having some trouble doing actually something on the feet.
And yea, I did quite some damage on top but I didn't want to punch myself out, but tried hard enough to hurt him a bit.
Now I need to find a good muay thai/kick boxing camp where I can improve my striking...
