germany is looking scary right now, its good to see that a lot of parody is starting to show on the world stage. argentina finally paid for that lack of defense. too bad they went down so handily...

What a great showing! Argentina was completely chanceless in the entire game. I did expected a victory.. but not like this haha

Bastian Schweinsteiger just became the greatest defensive midfielder in the Sport today! Everybody get's a A with *Stars*!!!

Müller will be missed in the semi finals.. Spain (we gonna take revange finally) and then probably Holland.. oh dear..

But we gonna make it Sorry Ape^^
Some real german passion. I like it. A couple friends of mine were in Berlin when Germany played Ghana, and they told me it was absolutely electric in the streets. Can't imagine how it was today. I would love to be there, thats for sure!

One thing I can say about Germany, if they go on to win it, they are DESERVING winners. Australia, Serbia, Ghana, England, Argentina, Spain, Netherlands(?). Thats a sick run of games.

Can't wait for the semis. It's weird how the World Cup is nearly over already. 4 long years until next time. Here's for hoping the drama isn't over just yet!

Couldn't agree more with you here luckbox. If we really make it, then we had to go through some sick sick Worldclass teams.

Probably the final against Holland will be the toughest from all of them.

I think it goes without saying but I'm still totally bummed out from the game this morning. Have to give respect to German and their quality of play today.

The early goal rocked Argentina for 10-15 minutes and even when they regained their form Germany had an excellent defensive strategy to negate the penetration from the middle of the field and Argentina never made adjustments how to attack it better. Then they got frustrated and Germany just poured it on and made them pay for all their mistakes in the 2nd. Oh well.

This isn't sour grapes but I would like to see a Spain-Netherlands finals to see one of those teams finally break through and win a Cup. Germany is looking quite excellent though right now and their chances are very good as well.

I honestly can't believe most of the Quarter Final games this year... this is turning into a European World Cup which is super rare! Brazil and the Argies out already is kind of scary to be honest!!! I blame the refs :P

Well, half of the quarter final teams were from South America. The only ones to advance were the Urus and they're playing a fantastic tournament as well. I think they have the best defense (#2 behind us of course) of the teams still in the tournament and Forlan can always score a goal. The Netherlands won't just run through them. Although they might... this world cup is just too crazy to predict anything. For all I know Uruguay could beat Holland 3:0... which I think they won't.
