At those odds I have to have a cheeky bet on France, but I think we all know it'll be Bloody New Zealand.

I bet on the side we know it will be, but would be fine with losing the credits just to see somebody else win.

I'd call it a successful world cup if the All Black's lost on Sunday.

Ah sorry man, Its nothing to do with the nation of New Zealand or the people there [of whom I'm quite fond], I guess I'll use a Doug Stanhope analogy that he used for the Yankees; Cheering for the All Black's if you're not from there is like going to a casino and cheering for the dealer, it shows no character. You guys are the best team in the world and despite your world cup record you've proven so time and time again, so its a little boring cheering for you guys really. I like an underdog. Don't get me wrong, I love watching you guys play and what you've done for the game, after all, our [Leinster] current coach is a Kiwi and won us the Heineken Cup in his first season in charge, its just... well... a little lacking for a non Kiwi to cheer for you is all.
I also don't like the fact you're commonly referred to as a trade mark rather than the actual name of your country... And I have issues with the Haka, but that's another matter and not exclusive to New Zealand.

Haha all good mate. Cheers for explaining. I was just a little confused as to how someone could dislike the New Zealand team. But I understand your reason.

Glad you do man! A lot of Kiwi's up here in the northern hemisphere get a little pissy when people cheer against the AB's, but we always reassure them its just cause you guys are the best and we all love you really.

I can't cheer for anyone but New Zealand this Sunday, and while NZ have been considered the best in the world for a long time, they haven't won the RWC since 1987, which is shocking for me.
I feel they're due, and deserving of the title far more than France are, who have looked pretty bland at best through out the tournament.

Lets face it, France have been terrible. But they're due a big performance and despite their mediocrity they always have one big game in them.
